I never wanted to say any of this because I've always been the kind of person who keeps everything to myself. I smile, I say "I'm fine," and I move on.

But today my heart felt so heavy that staying silent became harder than speaking.

Maybe this is just overthinking. Maybe it isn't. I honestly don't know anymore.

I've always been someone who gets attached easily. When I care about someone, I care with my whole heart. I trust people quickly, I share my secrets without thinking twice, and I always believed that's how real friendships are built.

But lately I've realized something that hurts more than I expected.

Everyone has that one person. Someone they tell everything to. Someone they run to first. Someone they trust with the things they don't tell anyone else.

And then I asked myself a simple question...

Have I ever been that person for anyone?

I couldn't find an answer.

The worst feeling isn't being alone. It's realizing that the people you consider your favorites already have someone they love, trust, and choose before you.

I'm not jealous. I'm not blaming anyone. I'm not asking anyone to change.

It just hurts when you give someone a special place in your life and slowly realize that you never had the same place in theirs.

Sometimes I feel like I'm everyone's good friend, but nobody's closest friend.

Maybe that's why I started questioning myself.

Maybe I care too much.

Maybe I trust too easily.

Maybe I get attached faster than I should.

Maybe I expect too much from people who never promised me anything.

And honestly... that realization is heartbreaking.

I used to tell people everything. Every little secret, every random thought, every problem. But now I hesitate because I don't know if I ever mattered the same way they mattered to me.

If I become quieter...

If I stop sharing everything...

If I seem a little distant...

Please don't mistake it for attitude.

I'm not angry with anyone.

I'm just trying to protect the parts of me that have been hurting for a long time.

This isn't a goodbye.

This isn't meant to make anyone feel guilty.

I just needed to let this out because my heart has been carrying it for far too long.

Sometimes people don't cry.

Sometimes they just become quieter.

And maybe...
