‪@Solscalr‬ hey, my viking + Skyrim project is going well so far. I have a lotta primary resources of research and enough stuff in Skyrim i think (am now lvl 17 bordering 18). I just do need to spend more time reading actual books for class and less time playing, so i will say i got to Solstheim but am confused of where to go for viking stuff
Would you have happened to mean this quest? It was received from outside the docks of Windhelm (East Empire Company, Orthus Endario), where that one boat in the middle would go to Solstheim. Vikings were also called pirates as they plundered a lot when they had nothing at home, or opposing sides didnt accept tribute. Is this what ur confusing? What “more viking” quest is at Solstheim?

On an unrelated note, i thought this was funny: my Link light in my room sometimes changes color or light options without me ever touching the remote, iS hE tRyNa TeLl Me SmThN 😳

This morning, i drank a (unopened) yoghurt drink in the same mini fridge that had (sealed in plastic in a paperboard box) slightly moldy chicken on chicken sandwiches. Thankfully the food was not next to any drinks, but the yoghurt drink tasted fizzy/carbonated like soda, and it had to get shaken more. Still tasted like soda. I drank it anyways since there was little time. It had never tasted like this before (it prolly was not supposed to b like that), plus almost everyone around me is sick; im not and havent felt so all day, how 💀 ‪@liamroberts422‬ ‪@Solscalr‬ ‪@pokey_purple_pikmin6377‬

‪@Solscalr‬ my HIST-101 professor doesn’t recommend me to do the Civil War comparison cause no real vikings fought each other that way much (and he himself plays Skyrim too), and the books we have have more primary sources for life and d3ath (not sure if i have to c3ns0r things here or not lol), like the draugars. I wanna ask about boats/ships too since they seem to look pretty similar, and the Companions building in Whiterun has a roof made of a ship flipped upside down. Thoughts now?

Guess i have to go to the College of Winterhold instead to get more in-game info for a primary source. What about Solstheim? Are there different draugars there? At least i leveled up a bit from getting to Solitude

A bit of context: technically Wolf Link was the very first animal I have ever painted. My mom said “grr baby” and gave me this idea. SuCh A pErFeCt PaIr 😍

Remember my book series? Even if I have not written as many words as I would have liked thus far, I’m allowed to draw things in my art class for things that have to do with it and my special interests

At the falling action, Astrid’s (her eye is at the middle left edge) looking in horror as all the animals she’s known (dead and alive—am I allowed to say the former here?) got put together in a melting, polymorphic cold mass (called the Defuncted Souls). The main villain did this, so the two of them are the only physical beings not a part of this thing. I didn’t want there to be one singular design, especially if I were to draw out pages or ever have it animated
For that reason, it’s all good if some of the black, white, and gray tempera forming the contours and inner “faces” come off

I partly got inspired to do the Defuncted Souls by Undertale long ago; think of the amalgamates but worse, since parts of my created mass are illusions/ghosts. Organic stuff together like that sounds more bad to me, considering Astrid knows everybody, friend and foe

And for all the talk I remember on “smol cute lizard boi Gakere”, his eye with the scales around it is at the center. You’re all welcome

Edit: I did not mean to post that one community post 22 minutes ago 😭 and come on I thought at least some of you guys would happen to see *this*

Im ok for the most part, im just worried again for AI and mathematics… Im putting my experiences into my art, and i dont think AI can replicate that—especially not how i feel toward it
