CGL 2025 मे आये Error वाले Questions से संबंधित कुछ नियम। ✅

1. “That + clause” ⇒ हमेशा singular verb
जब पूरा clause subject हो, तो उसे एक idea माना जाता है।
✔ *That the report failed* is surprising.


2. “The fact that / The perception that / The idea that …” ⇒ singular verb
पूरा phrase मिलकर एक subject बनता है।
✔ *The fact that he resigned* was shocking.


3. “Neither of + plural noun” ⇒ singular verb
✔ *Neither of the reports* is reliable.


4. “Either of / Each of / Every + noun” ⇒ singular verb
इनके साथ verb हमेशा singular होता है, चाहे noun plural दिखे।
✔ *Each of the students* has submitted the form.


5. “Neither A nor B” ⇒ verb B (nearest subject) के अनुसार
✔ Neither the manager nor the employees are present.


6. “Not only A but also B” ⇒ verb B के अनुसार
✔ Not only the teacher but also the students were informed.


7. “There is / There are” ⇒ real subject के अनुसार verb
“There” dummy subject है; असली subject बाद में आता है।
✔ *There are several inconsistencies in the report.*

8. Time / Money / Distance as a unit ⇒ singular verb
अगर मात्रा को एक इकाई माना जाए।
✔ *Fifty minutes* is not enough.


9. Collective noun (team, committee, jury)

* Group को unit मानें ⇒ singular
* Members को अलग-अलग मानें ⇒ plural

✔ *The team is winning.*
✔ *The team are arguing among themselves.*

10. Uncountable nouns ⇒ singular verb
Evidence, information, furniture, advice आदि।
✔ *The evidence* is strong.


11. Unreal condition (if / wish / as if) ⇒ “were”
कल्पना या अवास्तविक स्थिति में सभी subjects के साथ “were”।
✔ If I were rich…


12. Third conditional inversion
✔ *Had + subject + V3, subject would have + V3*
✔ *Had he worked harder, he would have succeeded.*


13. “No sooner … than …”
✔ *No sooner had he arrived than the meeting began.*

14. “Hardly / Scarcely … when …”
✔ *Hardly had she finished when the bell rang.*


15. Negative adverbs at beginning ⇒ inversion
Rarely, Seldom, Never, Little, Hardly
✔ *Rarely has there been such chaos.*


16. “It was not until … that …”
ज़ोर देने के लिए प्रयोग।
✔ *It was not until much later that the truth came out.*



17. Parallel verb forms (important)
एक ही subject के actions समान form में हों।
✔ to protect and to regulate


18. Parallel nouns / adjectives Important)
✔ budgeting, marketing, and scaling


19. Preposition के बाद verb ⇒ gerund (-ing)
✔ interested in learning
✘ interested in learn


20. “Capable of / intent on / interested in + V-ing”
✔ capable of handling pressure

पटाखे न फोड़ने का मन होते हुए भी , माँ पिता परिवार को खुश दिखने के लिए , फोड़ना पड़ेगा
ये दर्द न जाने कब खत्म होगा
कोई खुशियां की दिवाली मना रहा है
कोई किताबों से पस्त दिवाली मना रहा है
