Today, let us reflect on the importance of BELIEVING in God's promises.
Passage 1: Genesis 15:6
Abraham believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
Reflection: Like Abraham, we're called to trust in God's promises, even when they seem IMPOSSIBLE . Our faith in Him is counted as righteousness.
Passage 2: John 11:40
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Reflection: Jesus reminds us that our belief in Him unlocks the manifestation of God's glory in our lives. Let us maintain our faith, knowing that God's promises are sure. His deliverance is sure! His peace is sure! His protection is sure! His direction is sure!!

💚Good Morning Family,
Today’s devotion is in writing. I pray you read it in its entirety.
Today we are taking Josh for a college visit. And yes I’m excited for him, I promise I will not cry while we’re there.
For some time now, Josh has been preparing for the upcoming season of his life. The content in his various subjects is more rigorous, he’s implementing a greater sense of personal discipline with time, his diet, exercise and even the way he keeps his room has improved. All of these areas that I’ve mention reflects the fact that he is actively preparing for NEXT. It says he WANTS to be ready!
This observation has me looking into my own life and asking am I too preparing for the NEXT thing that God desires to do in my life? Am I studying God’s word as I should? Am I establishing necessary boundaries to protect the assets God has entrusted into my care- time, health, family, ministry, character,finances, etc…
Am I setting goals and imagining myself reaching those goals? Am I informing my community so that I have trusted encouragers in my corner?
Just as I sit in hopeful expectation of the next chapter of Joshua’s journey, I pause to celebrate the oncoming of my next chapter as well because it’s time.
Let’s make a vow today to be discontent with staying put- THERE IS MORE ahead for us to become, acquire and accomplish.

To kick this list off… I’m dreaming of earning my Doctorate Degree in Ministry to Women- and guess what- I STARTED THE PROCESS at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (and it’s wonderful so far).
I want you to dream again. Chase your dreams. Do whatever is necessary to SUCCEED because the world is waiting on YOU to show up!
