Living well after 60—simply, thoughtfully, and not alone
I’m Suzanne, and I’m here to walk with you through the beautiful, sometimes challenging season of being 60+.
This channel is for women navigating life after 60—especially those of us living alone.
Here, we talk about what it really means to live well in this season of life:
finding contentment in ordinary days
navigating loneliness with honesty, grace, and faith that is lasting
building a life that feels calm, meaningful, and your own
I also share simple, practical ways to use tools like AI to support everyday life—without overwhelm or confusion.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
We’re walking through this together.

Today is my 64th birthday, and I’ve been thinking about what I know now that I didn’t know when I was younger.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is this:
a meaningful life does not happen automatically — it has to be tended.
Not all at once.
Not through one big breakthrough.
But through small steps, quiet changes, and learning to make space for what matters most.
That’s what today’s Thrive Thursday video is about. 💛
I’d love to hear from you:
What is something you know now that you didn’t know when you were younger?
And if you’re also in a later season of life, do you feel that growing older has brought more loss, more clarity, or both?

Have you ever wondered whether God still has a purpose for you after 60?
This week’s Sunday Psalm is such a beautiful reminder that He does.
Psalm 92 tells us that the faithful still bear fruit in old age — still growing, still useful, still held by God.
If you’ve ever felt like your most meaningful years are behind you, I hope this message encourages your heart.
New video: Why God Hasn’t Finished With You After 60
Psalm 92:12–15
I’d love to know:
What has God been teaching you in this season of life?

Dear Friends,
I used to think that by 64, I would be winding down. But lately, I’ve realized that God often saves the most interesting work for the second half of our lives. 🌿
I’ve been thinking a lot about the pressure we feel to "step back" as we age. In my new video tonight, I’m sharing my honest heart on why I’m refusing to retire—not just out of necessity, but out of a desire to stay fully alive and engaged with the gifts I’ve been given.
If you’ve ever felt like society expects you to fade into the background, I hope this encourages you today. We are not done yet!

Wishing you peace this evening,

Why New Year’s Resolutions Don’t Work After 60
Watch the video here on Thursday!
If New Year’s resolutions feel exhausting instead of hopeful, especially after 60, this video is for you. January doesn’t have to be about rigid goals—it can be a time to listen to your life and notice what matters most.
In this Thrive Thursday reflection, I share gentle alternatives to resolutions, including small daily habits like reading most nights or moving your body most mornings. There is no failure here—only noticing. This is not a plan. It’s an orientation to living thoughtfully, faithfully, and well in midlife and beyond.

Are you feeling a little lost right now—unsure what God is doing, or where your life is headed, especially in this season after 60?
In today’s video, we’re sitting with Psalm 25, a beautiful prayer from David for guidance, courage, and mercy. If you’ve ever thought,
“Lord, I don’t know what’s next…”
“Everyone else seems farther along than I am…”
“I wish I could go back and undo my mistakes…”
…then Psalm 25 is for you. 💛
In this gentle Scripture reflection, we’ll talk about:
1. “Show me Your ways, Lord” – Letting God lead when you don’t have a plan
2. Waiting without shame – Trusting God when life doesn’t look ‘put together’
3. Bringing your past and regrets into God’s mercy
