Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel! This is Otaku Showboat and I am a gaming content creator who primarily plays a mix of older console titles and PC games. My focus is on contemplative single player games requiring more thought than reaction speed.
I have been a content creator of and on since September 2011.
These days, I mostly just stream on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Eastern US Time.

With DK Bananza wrapped up, I would usually announce today what I'll be streaming next. Unfortunately, after giving it some thought, I honestly don't *want* to stream or record any game in particular right now. There are several games I'd like to stream eventually, but they either aren't out yet, or I'm waiting on content updates.
As such, I have decided to take an extended break from streaming and content creation. I will let you know when I plan to return to streaming again, but expect this hiatus to last at least through the end of the year, if not longer.
This is not a decision I've come to lightly. I simply have not truly been enjoying streaming for a while now and need to focus on other things for a bit.

I'd like some feedback on what I should stream after Subnautica, so here's a poll: strawpoll.com/kjn1DRKvAyQ
The poll is skewed towards Switch 2 titles because I recently purchased a capture card capable of 60 FPS streaming, but I have given a PC option and an option for "Other" in this poll.
Note: Any votes for Factorio in the "Other" category will be ignored. Anyone can make me play that game at any time by paying me a LOT of money. The terms are in the announcements section on my Discord. That will be the ONLY way to get me to play that game again.
Edit: I will also not be making content of games developed or published by Paradox. I fundamentally disagree with their DLC spam policies.

XSplit disconnected the streams today for some reason and is being a massive pain to try to reconnect, giving me the same issue it had when I started the stream (YouTube broadcast settings window has blanks and the window won't close). I'm going to have to completely stop using it since it's clearly no longer able to perform its most basic of functions. It will take some time to update my OBS install to the current stream layout, so I won't be continuing this stream today. I'll be back at the usual time on Thursday.

Just a heads up: Anyone who complains about my pre-game discussions at the start of my streams will be banned. If you don't like it, you can skip ahead in the VOD or go watch something else. This is not open for debate.

Looks like Kerbal Space Program 2 will launch about an hour before my normal stream start time. Do y'all want to see me stream KSP 2 on Friday at our usual stream time (10:00 am Eastern US Time)? If I enjoy it and want to continue streaming it, I'd likely stream it on Sundays thereafter at our usual stream time.
