Hello, welcome to GWT.
This channel has been around since September 2022, and I try to upload new content every few days to ensure that you get a wide range of videos for you to watch.
My 3 biggest hobbies out there are: travelling, transporting and exploring.
Therefore, on this channel, I will upload videos dedicated to those hobbies, as well as a few bonus videos not dedicated to those hobbies.
This channel is not my channel - it's our channel.

Do you know what has to be one of the most annoying things to experience?
Getting a bloody cold just days before going on holiday.
I haven't had a cold since March 2025. I didn't seem to get one last winter.
Anyways, where am I going?
I'm going back to Morocco. I did film a few videos from there when I went last year, but I want to film some more videos.
There's a few reasons why I'm going to Morocco:
1 - It's one of my favourite countries
2 - I plan to climb Jebel Toubkal (Morocco's tallest mountain at over 4,000m).
3 - I love Moroccan food! Tagines 😋
Unfortunately, I am super ahead of schedule on YouTube. Put it this way, the videos you're seeing on my channel being uploaded at the moment were filmed back in November and December.
Therefore, Morocco content will likely not go out onto the channel until October and November!
I'm constantly about 5 or 6 months ahead. Once I get back from Morocco, I probably won't film many videos until this winter, so I can catch up.
I don't particularly want to film videos this summer that won't go out onto the channel until the winter.
I've got some big plans for the years ahead. I can't confirm for sure, but I might be moving countries! Where to?
Possibly Australia...
But, that won't be for a good few years.
Imagine GWT recording videos from Australia. That will be crazy.
I plan on getting a working holiday visa for potentially 2028, maybe.
Let's see where the future holds.

To all the amazing Australians that watch my channel, that is a grand total of 1% of you reading this, I am well aware of the social media ban that will begin on the 10th of December. This will affect all of you under 16 years old. I won't go into detail about why it will be imposed and whether it's a good idea or not, but what I can say is that I am sorry to hear that you won't have a platform to watch your favourite content until you turn 16 years old. Now, for the majority of you, that's likely not too long away, but it will likely still be a long wait. I will continue to upload videos every couple of days for the foreseeable future. Hopefully, when you return, I will still be uploading...

I just opened my phone and went onto the YouTube app. The first thing I noticed was the fact that I had just reached 500 subscribers. That's a lot of subscribers. That's more than 499! I want to thank all of you for liking, subscribing, and, most importantly, watching my content. I can't wait to upload videos from overseas. This will be from the end of November onwards...

I don't know about you, but I find the 4 'ber' months the most boring and depressing months of the year. So, to cheer you all up: I've got a lot of content scheduled for the rest of the year and the beginning of next year. Therefore, to make up for it, videos will be uploaded every 2 days now, instead of every 3 days. That means more content for everyone!
I won't reveal too much, but in a few days' time, there'll be a few weeks of London content.
Then, I've got a bunch of Newcastle and Carlisle content.
Then, after that, GWT goes INTERNATIONAL! That's right, there'll be videos from France, Spain, and Portugal!
Then, in about 5 months' time, there'll be content from even further away. Where from? You'll have to wait and see!

Today marks the 20th anniversary since the first YouTube video. No, not on my channel. I would've been less than 0 years old if that was the case. I'm talking about Me at the Zoo which was uploaded on April 24th 2005.
It's insane how much YouTube has evolved since then. I've learnt so much from this platform. Way more than what school has ever teached me. Schools focus too much on exams and tests, and not enough on the actual subject, and more importantly life skills. With YouTube, there's so much content, and obviously each day there's even more content as more is uploaded.
The best thing about YouTube is how there's literally content for everyone, no matter your age, gender, interests, hobbies etc...
A big question I've asked myself is how long will YouTube be around for, and will anything ever take over YouTube? I definitely believe YouTube will easily be around until at least 2050, and I can't see anything ever taking over YouTube. Sure, there's loads of other sites such as Rumble, Dailymotion, Twitch...etc but they're nowhere near to the same scale as YouTube.
YouTube is certainly the near future. I know more and more people who are cancelling their TV license as, quite frankly, TV is boring. It's just the same old rubbish that's incredibly repetitive or boring. I honestly can't remember the last time I've put on the TV! I'm either watching YouTube, Netflix or Amazon Prime. If I did want to watch something from ITV or BBC, I'd just watch ITV X or BBC Iplayer, as I can watch whatever I want whenever I want.
