Deadpool and Batman Crossover Incoming!
The crossover between Deadpool and Batman is already shaping up to be everything comic book fans have been dreaming of. The Merc With a Mouth and the Dark Knight will officially kick off the newest crossover between competitive rivals, Marvel Comics and DC.
Instead of letting their fans debate which universe would prevail in a fight, Marvel and DC are letting their heroes team up for some exciting adventures. It all begins with the Marvel one-shot Deadpool/Batman #1 in September, followed by DC’s Batman/Deadpool #1 in November.
We’ve gotten plenty of covers hyping up the big event, and now we have interior pages that deserve to be recreated on the big screen.
The main story in Deadpool/Batman #1 is by Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo. It shows Deadpool smashing his way through a window at Wayne Manor, where he’s greeted by Bruce Wayne.
Instead of fighting, the two heroes appear to do some bonding as Wade Wilson glances at a portrait of Alfred Pennyworth hanging on the wall. As they’re walking, we see Bruce glance at the pistol strapped to Deadpool’s hip, and we see an intense stare from Bruce’s eyes.
The last page of the Deadpool/Batman story features Jim Gordon on a rooftop with the Bat symbol lit. But instead of Batman appearing, Gordon gets Deadpool. Gordon opens his coat to reveal his pistol since he doesn’t trust Deadpool.
It’s all very brief, but it’s a nice sampling of what fans can expect from Deadpool/Batman #1.
Deadpool/Batman Already Features Some Must-See Moments
Included in the first look of Deadpool/Batman #1 are pages from the backup stories starring Daredevil and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, and Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru.
Not shown are even more team-ups, like Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, Rocket Raccoon and Green Lantern by Al Ewing and Dike Ruan, and Wolverine (Old Man Logan) and Batman (The Dark Knight Returns).
Deadpool/Batman #1 goes on sale September 17th. Thank you to comicbook.com, never misses!

The world has lost an icon…RIP Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath frontman, dies at 76.
I had the pleasure of seeing him perform once, and even at his age, he absolutely destroyed an entire stadium. Worshipped by thousands around me, all we could see was this God of Rock, doing the only thing he knew, blowing our fu¢king eardrums and minds away. I’ll never forget it, the man completely controlled the stage. There will never be another.
To the man who changed music forever, the man who gave so many of us metal, the man who reinvented himself and came out stronger 💪, the Godfather…RIP, ya Godamm legend.

Seems we may have a War Zone on our hands!
While we may have seen some images already, we still don't know who the confirmed villain Frank will facing is. Recent rumors and images seem to show signage for Gnucci's Restaurant. Who is rumored to be the main antagonist for the special.
More images have been spotted for scenes which may be taking place in 1987. That's hinted at by a poster for Predator, though the movie theatre could be showing some classics (Dr. Strangelove and The Italian Job are also listed, and nearby vehicles look modern).
We'd imagine the cast will be on set later today, so it might not be long until we find out who is playing one of The Punisher's most twisted foes. When we last saw Frank, he'd seemingly managed to escape from Mayor Wilson Fisk's makeshift prison.
In the comics, Isabella Carmela Magdalena "Ma" Gnucci sets out to kill Frank after he murdered three of her sons. As well as using her connections in the NYPD to send the "Punisher Task Force" after Frank, she dispatches the Russian to take him out. Needless to say, what Frank does to her is absolute Punishment! Thank you comicbookmovie.com!

Ironheart is over, dose Riri have an “Infamous” future?!
One eagle-eyed fan has noticed that, in the background of the show's final scene, The Hood can be seen draped over Riri's armour. This leaves us with more questions than it does answers, but can we assume that she's now piloting that suit while wearing The Hood? It's a compelling possibility and one that drastically alters this character's status quo in the MCU.
Riri still having The Hood also explains why she was in the midst of researching what looked like magical equations before being reunited with the real Natalie.
We don't know what Marvel Studios had planned for Armor Wars, but Riri being a character rooted in this world's supernatural corner now appears to be a given. It's also looking increasingly likely that she could unwittingly head down a villainous route as Mephisto's influence over her increases.
Many fans have been quick to point out that The Hood being draped over Riri's armour is reminiscent of the "Infamous Iron Man." After Secret Wars, Victor Von Doom suited up as a morally ambiguous armoured "hero" for a time, and did so wearing his cloak. Could Ironheart end up more infamous than iconic? We'll have to wait and see.
"It’s an informed decision," Ironheart executive producer Ryan Coogler recently told Collider. "She sees Hood at his worst, she sees what the deal with this guy looks like, and she still does it for a friend. You learn just how much she loves this person. It’s one of the more interesting things we've seen somebody doing in the MCU, and that's hard because there have been a lot of these, a lot of movies, a lot of shows."
"It’s a very interesting form of sacrifice that can only happen in this story with these characters, so I thought it was a great way to introduce an incredibly powerful character from publishing, because you meet Mephisto via this deal, which I think is really cool," the Black Panther director added. Big thanks to comicbookmovie.com!

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! Highlander News!
A major star has joined Henry Cavill's Highlander reboot. The original movie, released in 1986, starred Christopher Lambert and Connery in a battle between immortal warriors across space and time. Since then, several sequels and spinoffs have been made, and the franchise has also expanded to include a TV series. Lately, Amazon MGM and United Artists have teamed up for a new iteration, with John Wick's Chad Stahelski (who has recently been heavily rumored to be the first choice to direct the MCUs Blade project) at the helm and Cavill as a lead.
According to Collider, Russell Crowe will star in a key role opposite Cavill, which also sets up a Man of Steel reunion. The Gladiator star has reportedly been cast to play Ramirez, MacLeod's immortal mentor, a role that was populated by Sean Connery in the 1986 original, per Deadline's report. Big thank you to screenrant.com!

Huge Spiderman Brand New Day news!!! Punishment inbound…
Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in his big-screen debut. For years, Spider-Man was kept separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and wasn’t allowed to play in that big sandbox of heroes and villains. In 2015, Sony and Marvel struck a deal to bring the character into the MCU and as a result, he has been able to hang out with Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Nick Fury. It has been a fruitful partnership and one that has allowed for some dream team-ups. However, some fans really want to see a few key crossovers, namely between Spider-Man and Daredevil, but also The Punisher.
While there’s a lot of ambiguity over whether or not Daredevil will ever share the screen with Spidey, we are getting at least one of those. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Jon Bernthal will join the cast of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Plot details are under wraps, but it does indicate that this film may skew more grounded than the last three Spidey films, which is something that fans have been clamoring for after seeing Peter Parker go to space and contend with multiversal villains in his previous trilogy.
This story is developing…
Thank you too comicbook.com and the The Hollywood Reporter!
