A lot of us grow up thinking “purpose” is this dramatic, movie-moment revelation. Like one day you wake up, stare into the sunrise, and just know what your life is about.

Well, that’s not how it works. Even for YouTubers.

Purpose is usually quiet. It shows up in small interests, random curiosities, tiny moments where something lights you up for no reason. But, because it’s subtle, we assume it’s not “big enough” to be the driving force in our lives. The thing that gives us value.

Here’s the deal:
Purpose isn’t found. It’s formed. It grows when you follow what feels meaningful, even if it seems small, even if it changes, even if you don’t have it all figured out.

Psychology backs this up: the strongest sense of purpose comes from combining three simple things: what interests you, what you get better at over time, and what makes someone else’s life a little easier or brighter.

That’s it. No thunderbolt required.
