Happy new to all our subscribers and new faces within the BTWF family.

It’s been a slow start and Christmas period on my behalf but we’ve turned a page and we are back up and running.

To start, I’ve caught my first silver of the season. A low 50cm pictured below taken low and slow the other evening. Can’t go wrong with that.

I’ve also been out over the weekend on a little fishing mission, a new area, a fresh climb and a search for an illusive fish. One we don’t see often these days.

This will be all wrapped up in the next adventure. All to be unraveled on Thursday.

But till then, thanks t everyone who watches, visits, comments and likes the videos. It’s so appreciated.

Going forward. Let’s hope to bring some new faces. The goal for the year is to get to 10k subs. So if you know anyone that wants to join the party. Bring them onboard. And from a fishing perspective, I want…

A bream on a lure
A bass over 70cm
And… a trigger on a lure (maybe asking to much)

Been a while since I caught a better looking bass.

Been tough for me over the last month on the silver side of things.

Last night I got out in search of that illusive silver and bagged a few fish in a short shift.

A quick hit and run.

Feels like ages since I posted on here to you guys.

Happy new year to everyone hope you all had a lovely festive season.

2025 and I’m hoping to start the season off with a bang. We’ve had a good run of bass here in jersey in the last few weeks, but due to other reasons I’ve hardly been out. It will come, I guess you have to take the rough with the smooth.

I still have a couple more sessions from America to load, largemouth bass fishing and a species hunt on bait from the keys. So watch out for them in the next month.

We still have the Xmas competition running for an another handful of days so if you have not watched and left your answer in the comments make sure you do.

Till then I hope everyone is ready for the year ahead.

My goal, catch some more good fish, but remember for me I’d prefer to be catching fish than always getting big fish. And work on the channel a bit more and get as much good quality content to you guys as possible. Let’s go!

Good morning my fellow BTWF followers.

Sorry for the lack of content in the last couple of weeks, the Dadlife has really put a dent in the content flow I love to bring you all week in week out. But I wouldn’t change this for the world and any bass.

Hopefully as the ship steadies the content will start to pick up again. Fishing for me has taken the back burner. Although I am still getting out it’s mostly under darkness. Where I don’t film as much.

Here is a little incentive tho.

We are Nearing 5k subs. I want to thank everyone who watches the channel week in and week out by doing a comp for this monumental moment. Not 1 but 3 prizes for three people. A bag of lures for each.

Another solid fish I had last week on the better tides here in jersey

A fat 60 plus fish taken in the shallow stuff on an outgoing tide a day after the 72 on the same make.

Just goes to show these fish love the same ground year in year out.

The same mark has produced many good fish over the years at the same time of the season and on the same tides

She went 72cm but every fish is different!

Been out on the silver the last couple of weeks and it’s been special.

Lots of good and heavy fish for their size.

Cannot beat it. Here is a pick of the bunch mostly taken on the YKR sandeel in purple gore.

It’s a great time to be out under darkness at the moment so get into it where you can.

Seems to be a little bit of a running trend at the moment for me.

Once the lights go out and it’s dark the fishing comes good.

Not had to many fish in the day atm but under the stars and cloud cover it’s been great sport.
