James invented the Heel-Toe Technique in the 90’s making it possible for drummers to achieve and sustain faster speeds. His drumming is a unique energy fuelled mechanical, thrashy, death metal style influenced by bands Fear Factory, Dagoba, Kataklysm, Pantera, Slayer and Hate Eternal which brings together power patterns, extensive double bass, pure speed, technicality, and aggression. His music is featured on Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Spotify, Scuzz, Kerrang, Terrorizer and is the drummer of UK thrash band Warpath.
