Hey everyone! I wanted to apologize for being so late with the zato guide I promised. I recorded it once but wasn't satisfied with how it turned out, so I decided to start over and make something that could be more useful to a wider range of players. Thanks for your patience!
It's a well known fact that I don't play ranked too much, but that didn't stop me from competing to see who can guess ranks in DBFZ netplay! I had a blast joining Lotus, Argin, and TheDoctorBlu over on Globu's channel. Check it out and tell him I sent you!
Who do you think works best with Gogeta? I sent one of my team ideas over to Globku for his new video all about Gogeta team synergy. To see that and other pro's team suggestions, check out the full video here -> https://youtu.be/4JFE1lR2_XM And tell him I sent you!
Hey! I have a clips channel now full of small bites of dbfz wisdom, as well as small bites of stupidity. It'd mean a lot to me if you checked it out! www.youtube.com/channel/UCX8m...
Would you watch raw gameplay footage on this channel?
I usually focus on the educational side of things, so I've never really considered uploading full sets. But it could be nice to show some fun matches with my pals here once in a while too. (Also, selfishly, these videos would take almost no time to edit so it'd give me something to upload even when I'm overloaded with work.)
I hate to say it, but videos are going to be much more spread out on average for the next couple months. I've been spreading myself way too thin for too long, and I can't risk making any big mistakes this semester. Super Baby 101 is still on the way (as well as a gameshow video as well), but after that I can't guarantee much for a while.
The silver lining is that my semester is nearly a month shorter than usual, so I will have a pretty massive amount of time late spring/summer to focus on the channel. In the meantime I might do some more casual streams on twitch than usual (since those are way less work than making videos and could be a way for me to unwind).
How do you feel about having some high level match analysis on the channel?
At the moment, my internet provider is having serious issues in my area and I have barely been able to play DBFZ (or any fighting game for that matter) for weeks now. Usually the topics and content of my videos come directly from my experiences playing and trying to improve... but since I can't really play right now, I'm at a bit of a loss. I think one of the most productive things I can do currently is to watch some high level footage, analyze unique situations / decision making, and talk about what we can all learn from it. I don't want to upload "reactions" to an entire long set, mostly because I feel that it's disrespectful to the players and organizers of the matches (unless I get permission of course). Instead, I'd like to highlight specific situations that come up, talk about why they're important, and maybe go into training mode to break it all down even more.
Let me know what you honestly think of that. You won't hurt my feelings!
Video production will be a bit slower for a while due to my fall semester just starting, and a big project for work coming up at the same time. I'm looking forward to some of the things I have planned, once the time becomes available! Thanks for being patient everyone.
I'll be going live with another doctor DBFZ stream tomorrow (Friday) at 12:00PM PST. If you have any questions you'd like answered, feel free to drop by! Also, we have new emotes, at my viewers' request...
