I know many people are upset that BTS advertised brands like Coca Cola and McDonald’s, which are on the boycott list. As a Muslim army, it also hurts and disappointed me.

But that doesn’t mean BTS supports Israel.

Other idols have also done ads for boycott brands — for example, Stray Kids × Coca Cola (2024) and Blackpink × Starbucks (2023). This advertisements are after the genocide on Gaza So, if we say BTS supports Israel because of ads, then we would also have to say that they are supporting Israel .

BTS members like V and J-Hope have donated for war children (including Phalestine), and armys around the world also donate in BTS’s name. Pakistani Armys gave donations during Ramadan 2025, Malaysian Armys donated during Festa, and Indonesian Armys also organized donations — all for Phalestine. This shows how much love and support exists in their fandom. And also in the advertisements of coca cola v wears that band of donation.

We also need to remember that idols don’t always have the freedom to talk about politics idols have strict rules about not speaking on political issues. So because of strict rules they didn't talk about such topics. So, it’s unfair to blame them directly.

For me, I will continue to boycott as a Muslim, because that’s our responsibility. But I won’t spread hate by saying BTS supports Israel, because they don’t. They’ve always stood for humanity, and so should we. And I also respect you all opinions everyone has their rights .So I only want if you think about negative points so also think about positive too 🎀🪄
