I can hardly believe this has happened.

It's so sudden, so heartbreaking, and feels so real.

As a Manchester United fan, I must say this affects me deeply.

This situation isn't even about club rivalry anymore, it’s about the tragic loss of a young man who had so much left to offer. "A rising star"...

At just 28 years old, he was a proud Portuguese star, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished brother.

And now… he’s just gone.

He and his brother were taken from us far too soon in a tragic accident.

Today, football has lost more than just a player, It has lost a fighter, a warrior, someone who poured everything into the game and inspired millions beyond it.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, teammates, and to every fan of Portugal and Liverpool and football... As I'm sure they were important to him....



May his soul rest in peace 🤍
