Dalovian is a genre-blending solo musical project by multi-instrumentalist Dalibor Krigovsky. Exploring sound through deep piano, cinematic scores, rock, metal, and electronic elements, Dalovian’s music blends shadows with the ethereal.
I am proud to announce the release of my new album “Waters Above, Heavens Below” which will be released on 26 July 2026.
This album is more electronic and quite different from anything I have yet published, yet contains my signature nevertheless.
The songs on this album were created between 2016 and 2018, during my university years, while living in a student dormitory, and experimenting with the sound overall. I did not have my piano with me back then, so I was only left with my mind, an acoustic guitar, a laptop, headphones and a set of monitors. Except for Mirrors (which I am re-releasing in a lower pitch), all of the songs were left unfinished, roughly 60% complete, with me never quite finding a way to finish them.
At the beginning of 2026, I returned to this forgotten electronic chapter. After some time revisiting the material, I finally gained a vision of what these songs were meant to become. From the end of January to the beginning of June this year, I spent my evenings and most weekends mixing, refining, and completing these tracks.
Every journey comes to an end and so does this album after 9 years of just hanging around.
Tracklist: 1. Mirrors 2. Celestial 3. Heavenly Heights 4. Lights 5. Heavens Below 6. Inflection Point 7. Mind Like A Mirror 8. Velvet 9. Waters Above
I made this song spontaneously in spring 2022. A few days later, while walking home from the store, I found an intact yet freshly dead dragonfly, shining brightly with color, lying in the middle of the pavement right in front of me. I took it home and saw that the lower part of its body was still contracting as if breathing, but I could not bring it back to life, and its life definitively faded away.
From that day on, I have kept this dragonfly on my desk, its body shrunk but still well preserved, highlighting the beauty of this creature and its fascinating geometric proportions.
This occurrence had a specific meaning for me, as during those days I would often contemplate dragonflies and their way of flying. I felt as if this little fella came to me in its last moments, as if it knew I would appreciate its beauty even after death.
Nevertheless, this song is now forever linked in my mind with that period of time: the flat I was living in, and the park where I spent so many afternoons and sunsets between 2019 and 2022.
Looking back, this is the version of the song I liked the most, even though I’m wearing a bathrobe in it because I was home sick with the flu.
This piano session took place on November 19, 2024. This time, I think it’s much better suited for listening, as it doesn’t contain any mistakes.
I’m currently in the middle of many changes in my life and haven’t really had the chance to play the piano, so I’m mostly fishing from the recordings I made last year — and they’ve turned out to be surprisingly rich.
I recently came across this 1-hour live piano session recorded on March 24, 2025. I do these sessions from time to time, often after long breaks from playing, when I drift into a meditative state, improvising, exploring new ideas, revisiting fragments of older works, and simply losing myself in the flow of music. As you can clearly hear, the recording isn’t flawless, it contains moments of hesitation, rediscovery, and on-the-spot exercises as I recall pieces I wrote long ago. This may be distracting when trying to listen to the whole thing, but I decided to publish it anyway, because that's exactly what it sounds like when I play just for myself, therefore making this authentic memory of the specific moment. Sometimes you may hear bits of my published works; sometimes unpublished, yet similarly old ones; and sometimes submerging into pure creative chaos… Hopefully you will find your favorite parts in this. Much Love, Dalibor #dalovian#dalovianmusic#piano#pianomusic
Today marks 10 years since I uploaded Mono. This piece became my most popular piano track to date, and I still remember the evening I finally recorded it in a single take. It happened almost by chance—I was about to meet a friend and thought, “Just one last try, and then I’ll head out.” That take ended up being the one. I’ll never forget the feeling of satisfaction as I walked to meet her, knowing the track was finally ready.
To celebrate, Mono is available for free download on my Bandcamp page for the next 24 hours. If you don’t have it yet, now’s the time.
I don't post for a random global audience browsing random shorts without any specific goal, I create for people having specific taste in music and I know they do because for years it had worked just perfectly for both sides - people got the content they wanted, and creators have found their right audience. Organically, it worked like a charm. Not anymore. Subscriptions don't mean anything anymore. They are irrelevant. You will only be shown content based on algorithms guessing what you might like instead of what one actually chose to get. With 5.8k subscribers I am getting less views than when I had under 50 subscribers after opening my channel 13 years ago. I am thinking about hiding all my low-performing videos and keeping only a few most viewed videos here.
The original acoustic base from which my song ‘Tidal Locking’ came from. In this video I am using different tuning (444 Hz standard D), while the ‘studio’ version with drums is 440 Hz standard E with capo on the 4th fret - just in case someone would like to play it by looking at the video. I have had some rough months and I really would love to publish more regularly but my whole life for the last 2 years has really been one step forward, two steps back. I really am trying… Anyway, I thought some of you may like this content, I do not usually post videos like this, but I thought why not. It really was the simplest thing to do - no mixing, no overthinking, no post-production, just a few minutes of nice morning play. Much love, Dalibor #dalovian#dalovianmusic#tidallocking#tidallockingacoustic#dalovianacoustic
The new single ‘Tidal Locking’ will be released on April 11, 2025. I am happy to publish a song with drums and guitars after a long time, although very soft and simple. Pre-order available on Bandcamp and iTunes. dalovian.bandcamp.com/track/tidal-locking
Album ‘Meteors’ will be released on the 6th of September 2024. Album is a compilation of my solo piano tracks published between 2013 and 2020. I equalized all the tracks as the original recordings were rather muddy, with intention not to change the original sound too much. Pre-order available on Bandcamp: dalovian.bandcamp.com/album/meteors Tracklist: 1. Mono 2. Lila 3. Illusion 4. Takk 5. Incoming Systems 6. Here’s To The Pain 7. You Are Nothing But a Star 8. Nova 9. Meteors
10 years ago today, Avian has been released. To this day, this is my favorite song of mine, my personal anthem, connected to the air, flying, and ascending. 'Vian' in my name came from this word Avian...
