TODAY WE CELEBRATE 1 YEAR 🎂🎶

Today, this channel celebrates 1 year since it all began. I still remember my very first video… pretty ugly, hahaha. 😂 I had very little experience and honestly didn’t know much about any of this, but there was one thing that had always been with me: video game music.


All my life, I’ve listened to these melodies the same way other people listen to their favorite singer or band. To me, they were never just “background music from a game.” Many of them are beautiful pieces that stayed with me for years and eventually became part of so many memories.


I was always looking for interpretations, covers, and different versions. I followed amazing channels and would even ask if they could someday reinterpret some of the tracks I loved the most. But many times it was hard for everything to line up, and there were songs, or even entire games, that hardly anyone ever touched. Back then, it always felt like something was missing.


Now that I’m on the other side, I completely understand why. There is simply too much incredible music out there, and it’s impossible to cover everything.


Until one day I thought: “Why don’t I learn how to do it myself?”


So I started researching, experimenting, learning, and looking for ways to create the versions I had always wanted to hear. And then another question came to mind:


“Why not share them too? Surely there are more people out there who love this music as much as I do.”


So I uploaded that first video… and that’s where everything began. 😄
One year later, here we are.


I truly want to thank everyone who has listened to a track, left a comment, shared a video, recommended a game, or simply supported the channel along the way.
Hopefully, this is only the beginning, and we can spend many more years sharing these melodies together.


Because the real works of art were already created many years ago by incredibly talented composers and musicians. On this channel, we simply try to bring them back to life, reinterpret them, and give them a different shine, so we can all keep enjoying them together.

今日で1周年を迎えました 🎂🎶
今日、このチャンネルは始まってから 1周年 を迎えます。最初に投稿した動画のことを今でも覚えています……かなり微妙な出来でした、hahaha. 😂 当時は経験もほとんどなく、正直なところ何もよく分かっていませんでした。でも、ずっと自分のそばにあったものがひとつありました。それがゲーム音楽です。


自分にとってゲーム音楽は、他の人が好きな歌手やバンドを聴くのと同じような存在でした。決してただの「ゲームのBGM」ではありません。何年もの間ずっと心に残り、気づけばたくさんの思い出の一部になっていた、美しい曲ばかりです。
昔からいろいろなアレンジやカバー、別バージョンを探していました。素晴らしいチャンネルをたくさん見て、いつか自分の好きな曲もアレンジしてもらえないかお願いしたこともあります。でも、なかなかタイミングが合わなかったり、ほとんど誰も取り上げない曲や、作品そのものがあったりして、どこか物足りなさを感じることもありました。


でも今は、自分が作る側になったことで、その理由がよく分かります。素晴らしい音楽があまりにも多くて、すべてをカバーするのは本当に不可能なんです。
そんなある日、ふと思いました。


「だったら、自分で作れるようになればいいんじゃないか？」
そこから調べたり、試したり、学んだりしながら、自分がずっと聴きたかったアレンジをどうすれば作れるのか探し始めました。そして、またひとつ疑問が浮かびました。
「せっかくなら共有してみたらどうだろう？きっと自分と同じくらい、この音楽が好きな人もいるはず。」


そうして最初の動画を投稿しました……そして、すべてはそこから始まりました。😄
あれから1年。今、ここまで来ることができました。


曲を聴いてくれた方、コメントを残してくれた方、動画をシェアしてくれた方、ゲームをおすすめしてくれた方、そしてこれまでチャンネルを見守ってくれたすべての方に、本当に感謝しています。


これがまだ始まりにすぎず、これからも 何年も一緒にこの音楽を楽しんでいけたら嬉しいです。


本当の意味での芸術作品は、何年も前に素晴らしい作曲家やミュージシャンたちによってすでに生み出されています。このチャンネルでは、その素晴らしい曲たちを もう一度よみがえらせ、再解釈し、少し違った輝きを与えること を目指しています。そして、みんなでこれからも楽しみ続けられたらと思っています。

Here’s an interesting little fact about the channel: City Pop is the genre with the highest total watch time. 🎶

チャンネルについてのちょっと興味深い事実があります。実は、最も総再生時間が長いジャンルはCity Popです。🎶

If my only goal were to generate as many watch hours as possible, I would probably release nothing but City Pop tributes. However, strangely enough, City Pop almost always loses the polls to other genres that later receive fewer views and listening hours. 😅

もし私の唯一の目標が、できるだけ多くの再生時間を獲得することだけなら、おそらくCity Popのトリビュートばかり投稿すると思います。しかし不思議なことに、City Popはほとんど毎回アンケートで他のジャンルに負けるのに、実際にはそのジャンルよりも多く再生され、長く聴かれています。😅
