Welcome to our home renovation channel! We're a couple in Bridport, Dorset, who have taken on the challenge of extending and renovating our 50 year old bungalow. Our goal is to turn our home into a modern energy-efficient oasis, and we want to share our journey with you!
We hope to take you on a step-by-step journey of our renovation process. We'll show you how we work with contractors and our DIY to make significant changes that will make our home more energy-efficient and convenient. We'll focus on the selection of technologies that we hope will make our home more sustainable, including underfloor heating, solar, battery, MVHR, and home automation.
We understand that a renovation project can be daunting, especially with the challenges of a budget in the current inflation environment. We'll be open about our experience and share tips and tricks to help you navigate the process.

I have had the odd question about my career before I started our Automated home project. I worked for HPE and Intel in my recent career and had the opportunity to work with some amazing customers including Mercedes AMG Petronas F1. I learnt so much about technology adoption in recent years and I am applying all of this to our build.
