We lost our Queen on Thursday.
It was a role she neither sought out nor wanted, however she would dedicate herself with formidable grace and humility to the throne during her lifetime. Her reign was marked by incredible stamina and an unwavering commitment to her subjects, both at home and throughout the Commonwealth.
When her uncle, Edward VIII, abdicated in 1936 to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson, Elizabeth's father became King George VI, and she was next in line for the throne.
Elizabeth was on a trip with her husband to Kenya when she received word of her father's death on Feb. 6, 1952, at age 56. The cause of death was cancer.
In a broadcast on her 21st birthday from Kenya, she pledged, "I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong."
On their immediate return to London, Elizabeth, now the queen regnant, and Philip moved into Buckingham Palace, which was to remain her main residence for the rest of her life.
Ma'am you more than kept your promise. Time to rest now. Rest In Peace.
As a mark of respect I won't be posting any videos till after the funeral. I believe this is likely to take place on 19th September 2022.

Well hello there my Live Lovelies, how the devil are you? Having a lovely time on holiday in tropical Liverpool and finally have some time to post a video I've been working on. This was originally a live for the love @ResinSuppliesDen as it was their 2nd birthday recently. Unfortunately, my internet had other ideas!! I hope you enjoy. I hope you're all having an amazing Jubilee weekend. I'm in tropical Eastbourne with my family. We went bike riding yesterday and boy am I aching, the weather was so amazing and it was so freeing to cycle along the sea front.
I have 2 videos to upload on my return and I'm hoping to get a video out on Sunday.

Apologies for posting a bit randomly, juggling quite a bit at casa Live Sleep Resin behind the scenes! I'm hoping things will start to calm down soon!!
New video will be up on Thursday 26th May at 6pm where I upcycle a glass turtle. I'm rather pleased with the results and I hope you enjoy it.
Oh and if anyone has a clue how to do the Amazon Associates thingamy, please can you get in touch via instagram messaging? I haven't a clue!!!
