Sodor: The Early Years, is a series that attempts to capture the feeling of the Railway Series, while telling original stories.
I'm afraid I don't do Trainz model or story requests, and I do not take character/model requests. Also, please do not swear in the comments for my videos.
Please do not ask about release dates for models or episodes. Any comments asking for such will be instantly deleted.
Please note, the target audience for this channel is not children, but grown-up fans of the show who still enjoy it. As such, it does cover some darker topics like suicide and illness and mental health.

Given recent events with Richard Jordan/Skarloey123, who was convicted of some nasty crimes earlier this year, I will be retconning the character of Alfred from my series. The episodes with him in are no longer canon.
Instead, I will be replacing him with my own take on 98462, a LNWR 'Experiment' class engine who got into a beef with Gordon back in 1923. He and 87546 did not arrive together, their stories just took place around the same time.

Sidney and Paxton will be joining the cast of STMY from Season 3. I've decided to depict them as Class 09s, which means they can pull trains as well as shunt. However, their TV series versions are Class 08, as in the TV series.

I've had a few questions about NWR numbering in my series, so I'll explain it here.
Numbers 1-6 - Thomas through to Percy, as per the Railway Series.
Number 7 - was originally Neville, who arrived during WW2. In 1948, when British Rail was formed, his lease from the Southern Railway was cancelled and he was sent back. Hence, the number 7 slot was free. It was then given to Toby, when he arrived in 1951.
Number 8 - Originally Duck, who arrived in 1955. However, upon learning of the Q1s being withdrawn in 1963, Sir Charles Topham Hatt recovered Neville and brought him into the NWR works. To conceal this from British Rail, the paperwork was rearranged so that Neville became number 8, with Duck now recorded under his GWR number of 5741, which he still carried on him. Neville's restoration and rebuild was completed in the late 1990s and he was put into service during the events of STEY 'Darkest Hour'/'Desperate Times'.
Numbers 9 & 10 - Donald & Douglas.
Number 11. Originally given to Molly when she visited in 1964. After she left, the number was held in case she wanted to return, and Oliver was put on the books under his GWR number of 1436. By the late 1990s, it was clear that Molly wasn't going to return. So when Janet arrived, they gave her that number.
Number 12 - Eric.
Number 13 - Benson. He asked for this number upon joining the railway, even though their numbering wasn't up to this back then. He believed it lucky.
Number 14 - Sheffield.
Number 15 - Peter.
Number 16 - Lily, following her recovery and restoration.
Number 17 - Rowan.
This means that the next new arrival, Rosie, will be number 18.
Also, Alice runs under her GNR number, 288.

Hi all,
This is Janet, a former LNER K2 class who works on the North-West Railway. Her crew hid her from British Rail in the late 1950s, then approached the North-West Railway in 1997 when BR was dissolved. She was one of the K2s who worked in Scotland.
She's part of the 'Barrow Bunch' along with Neville, Caden and Shane (now NWR D9). These engines are based at Barrow-in-Furness, and look after mainline traffic.
I recorded the making of Janet's model in Trainz, and will be doing a series of videos showing how I made her. This will probably be done after STMY Season 3 goes up.

Slight update to STMY lore. Rosie will now be a NWR engine, as their no. 18.

Here's the latest model for Sodor the Modern Years - Bradford the Brakevan in RWS style. I've done him in LMS, BR, NWR and TVS liveries. Thank you to Knuckles Productions for the faces.

The stories from the Harbour Engines mini-series have been moved back to season 4. However, before I decided to go to the seasonal approach, I did film and produce a full-length version of the episode Fast Goods, which was the planned opener for the mini-series. It'll still be in season 4, cut down a bit. But I'm thinking of releasing the original, as a bit of a glimpse.

In honour of the 80th anniversary of the Railway Series tomorrow, I'm releasing my Railway Series-style model of Terence the Tractor. He was the first non-railway character introduced in the books, in 'Tank Engine Thomas Again.' You'll find him on the non-rail vehicles section of my website.

Following a bit of reworking, the next STMY mini-series will be Norramby Engines. This will include the planned Manx Island Rescue special, broken down into a two-parter.

On a different note, I've run into what could be called 'Producer's Block' for Harbour Engines. In order to alleviate this, I'll be bringing another mini-series forward. Still trying to figure out which one, as most of them are built off elements introduced in Harbour Engines.
