So this is going off of Peacemakers current iterations mainly. Not purely Gunn’s take but definetly post DC acquisition!
These two are unorthodox assassins, trained to fight after a death (or in Monkeys case deaths) in the family. They’re haunted by that tragedy and others til the present, to the point they go from pure murderers fueled by their own need for peace to a killer of killers that try to only do away with even more destructive forces than they are. They are also literally haunted: Monkey by Bryce actually and Chris by his not real ghost dad lol.
Its a very odd idea but when it hit my brain I was really into it, especially after finished Peacemaker Season 2 (cruddy ending or nah) and Hit-Monkey Season 2 (cruddy ending or nah).
