In Loving Memory of Leslie Katherine Adams
December 31, 1957 – December 16, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie Katherine Adams, who departed this world on December 16, 2025, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Reno, Nevada. After a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, Leslie walked on surrounded by the echoes of a life lived with immense purpose and grace.
A Life of Achievement and Adventure
Born in Reno to the late Two-Star General Wayne D. Adams, Jr. and Diana Adams, Leslie was a lifelong achiever. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) on a volleyball scholarship, later earning her MBA in Business Administration and Management.
Leslie’s professional life was as diverse as it was successful. Her career highlights included:
Corporate Leadership: A distinguished 20+ year career at Intel.
Entrepreneurship: Success in real estate and the co-ownership of a trucking and concrete company in Cody, Wyoming, alongside her partner, Tony Martolio.
Music Management: Serving as the dedicated manager for singer-songwriter Lacy J. Dalton for the past seven years.
An elite athlete and adventurer at heart, Leslie was rarely still. Whether she was golfing, backpacking, skiing, or hiking through international trails, she embraced the world with vigor. On Sundays, she could be found fervently cheering for her beloved Denver Broncos.
Service Above Self
Leslie was the living embodiment of the Rotary motto. Her commitment to her community was unwavering:
Reno Centennial Sunset: A proud 27-year member, Major Donor, and Past President.
Reno Central: Currently serving as Club Secretary.
Reno South: Currently serving as Club Secretary.
Accolades: A member of the Bequest Society and a distinguished Paul Harris Fellow.
Family and Legacy
Leslie was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Mr. J. Ritchie. She is survived by her stepbrother, Mitch Laralde, her cousin, Dale Carlon, her partner, Tony Martolio, and her cherished cat companion, Maggie.
Leslie Katherine Adams walked this world with Grace, dignity, honor, and a generosity of spirit admired by all who knew her. She is much loved, irreplaceable and will never be forgotten.
Nikki Green, Leslie’s best friend and trustee will hold a celebration of life on Saturday, May 9th, from 9-11am. The location will be announced shortly.
