On 14th January, JAIN International Residential School came alive with the warmth and vibrancy of India’s harvest traditions as students celebrated Makar Sankranti, Pongal, and other regional festivals.
The Inter-House Pongal Making Competition brought together tradition and teamwork, with students preparing the sacred harvest dish while learning about its cultural significance. The campus was filled with the aroma of freshly cooked Pongal and the joy of shared effort.
Adding colour and excitement, the Kite Flying Competition saw the skies painted with energy, skill, and sportsmanship. Together, these moments reflected cultural harmony, collective joy, and the rich heritage that JIRS proudly nurtures.
