A very simple Gospel presentation:

Satan rebelled and fell from Heaven, out of the presence of God and his destiny was to be destroyed as he had been judged to burn in the lake of fire and brimstone. God made man in His own image and likeness and gave him dominion over the Earth and all things within it. Satan deceived man and caused him to sin and when man sinned, Satan brought man into himself and he said to himself "If I deserve to be destroyed for my rebellion then man, whom You made in Your own image and have given dominion, also deserves to be destroyed because I have made them as I am and You would be unjust to keep them alive if You are to judge me."

So man was put in a courtroom and bound to suffer the death penalty because man now shares in Satan's destiny and his position and his crimes. However, God sent His Son Jesus Christ who is God revealed in the flesh to take the death sentence on our behalf; He never sinned yet our crimes, our sins, were placed on Him. (Isaiah 53:5) Because He died in our place, as far as the public is concerned, His death counts also as our death; our records are erased and our death certificate was printed yet we ourselves never tasted that death; our sins were paid for by His blood. Because of that death, Satan's accusations were disarmed as God has put man to death through Jesus Christ.

But God raised Jesus Christ, the Son of God, from the dead as it's written: He will not suffer His Holy One to see corruption (Psalm 16:10) and God sat Him on His right hand, with dominion over all things, until His enemies are made a footstool. (Psalm 110:1) Because His death counted as our death, His resurrection also counts as our resurrection, His life as our life, freeing man from Satan's dominion through Jesus Christ who condemned sin in His flesh. He tasted our death so that we may be partakers of His life, the life of God as God has reconciled the world to Himself through Jesus Christ.
