QUESTION: Why is DELTARUNE Chapter 3 only 2 episodes when Chapters 1 and 2 had 4 episodes each?

ANSWER: For each chapter of DELTARUNE, our team got together and asked: What is ridiculous about this chapter? What annoyed us? What did people have strong emotional reactions to? What makes no sense? What are the best moments? We aim for about 8–14 really specific parody jokes per episode. Then we build our episodes around those jokes. We come up with jokes first, and then ask how many episodes it will take to tell those jokes. And unfortunately, Chapter 3 just didn't give us as much to work with from a parody perspective. A lot of the chapter is built around mini-games . . . and we just didn't find as many specific things we were excited to joke about. So instead of stretching it into 4 episodes, we decided it would be better to just do 2 really strong episodes instead.
