This initiative aims to advance innovative water solutions to protect public health and help𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗠𝗥) risks in the city.

Following the meeting, the delegation 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗔𝗕𝗟’𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 and wastewater treatment facilities as part of the 𝗝𝗦𝗧–𝗝𝗜𝗖𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

During the visit, they observed our advanced treatment technologies in operation, including the 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, and reviewed the ongoing work and technological processes.

This initiative under the JST–JICA SATREPS Program aims to advance 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 and help mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) risks in Dhaka.

After the visit, commemorative gifts were presented to mark the 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and to further strengthen the mutual partnership and collaboration.

The team conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing works and reviewed overall project progress. Following the site assessment, the proposed locations for the upcoming 𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘆 (𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟭 & 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟮) were also visited and carefully evaluated.
