Not a song inspired by the podcast, but something I wrote close to thirty years ago and just wanted to share. "MOONLIGHT (Day And Night"" is a song told from the perspective of someone who has loved quietly, patiently, and from a distance — watching the person they care about pour their heart into someone who didn't deserve it. It's about that particular ache of standing on the sidelines, seeing the hurt happen, and waiting for the moment you can finally say: you don't have to settle for that. There's something real here. There's me. It's not a song about moving fast or swooping in. It's about faithfulness, about a love that never left — and the gentle, steady offer of something better when the other person is finally ready to receive it.
