You see all those videos telling you to get 8,000 watch time hours in 30 days and get monetized on YouTube, most of them are lies. 90% of such tips are not practical. The trick may work in few niches but not in over 80% of allowed niches on YouTube. So, if you are a beginners here, do not get deceived or confused. YouTube content creation success is a long journey. TAKE IT FROM ME.

To all YouTube content creators out there, do not think that any company that send you email for proposed partnership deal is doing you a good thing. You must not agree to everything they want. Yes, it is not easy to build a YouTube channel and that is why they contact you. If the company is asking for affiliate earnings and you know you want an outright payment, be bold to say that to them. If they are not going to agree with you, let them leave.... Some of these brands only think of how it will benefit them without caring if you earn anything in return or not.

If your YouTube channel is growing and someone claims to be a brand sending you an email and making it mandatory for you to use YouTube channel email address to sign in on their platform before they could pay you for the brand collaboration, that is a red flag. DO NOT do that as those guys may end up hacking your YouTube channel. Being a content creator is not enough, you need to have basic cybersecurity knowledge. Some YouTube advice don’t worth it. Be mindful of what you listen and apply. Always filter what you take and apply to avoid getting into problems or delay. Sometime ago, a creator here was advising people on how to get watch time hours faster by registering under one app. You think you are wiser than YouTube sophisticated tools?

Inasmuch as you make efforts to get more views on your videos on YouTube, still consider the market values of the videos you are creating. That is why I keep saying that all videos are not equal financially. A video of 2,000 views may struggle to make $2, and another video of just 500 views has made over $6. That is where market value plays great role in content creation on YouTube.
