Most people think the first impression is about convincing the other person.
I don't.

Whether you're interviewing for a job, pitching a client, presenting to executives or negotiating a deal, one person is asking for trust while the other decides whether to grant it.
Here's what most people miss.
The greatest benefit of a strong first impression isn't that it impresses the Trust Giver.
It's that it transforms the Trust Seeker.
A confident opening creates momentum. You think more clearly. You articulate your ideas more effectively. You feel in control. Positive feedback reinforces your confidence, and confidence reinforces your performance.
The opposite is also true.
