A few years ago, CP Comboios de Portugal, Portugal’s national railway company and the country’s main passenger train operator, invited me to make a video with them, showcasing my LEGO work and my passion for trains. The video is on their social media (also on my youtube channel with subtitles)

It was a pretty special experience to see my LEGO creations featured alongside the company that has been part of Portugal’s railway history for over 160 years.

This is my Toyota Supra Liberty Walk, heavily inspired by Imran’s model.



To build this model, I used the Power Build Toyota Supra as a starting point, but completely redesigned the front bumper, the entire side profile, lowered the cabin and even gave it a slight tilt. The rear was also heavily modified and, in fact, the finished model uses more LEGO parts than Power Build parts. The fenders are also from Power Build and have appeared in sets such as the Countach and F40.



The wheels were a custom project I commissioned from BrickTheBrick, who specifically designed them to be used with the new LEGO low-profile tires.



Because of the building techniques needed to keep the car’s shape clean and completely studless, there simply wasn’t enough room under the hood to build an engine. And honestly, the BMW engine in the real MK5 Supra is visually quite boring anyway, at first glance, it’s basically a big piece of plastic with very few interesting mechanical details to show. So I didn’t feel it was really worth sacrificing the design of the car just to reproduce it.



So instead, I used the space at the rear of the car, where the rear seats and trunk would normally be, to recreate the hydraulic suspension setup, just like on the real car.



Since this build uses many parts that LEGO doesn’t actually produce, there will be no instructions. So please don’t ask or insist. 😅
