At 22, I dropped out of college to build an off-grid log cabin by hand.
My father taught me woodworking — but a cabin was new territory. I learned as I built. One year in, I bought a larger, more remote property — dismantled the unfinished cabin and moved it there. That is where I am today.
No crew. No voiceover. Just the work.

The whole time, the cabin had no floor. Not anymore. Over the past few weeks, I dug the foundation for the fireplace by hand, poured concrete, and started building a proper floor inside the cabin. The garden has a start, too.

Hello friends. I'm going to release a big video tomorrow. It will be a summary of the last year's work. It's nice to look back on the past, reminisce a bit and see how much work you've done. I myself am encouraged when I look at the beginnings.

Hello friends. I haven't given you an update in a long time so I just want to tell you that you don't have to worry.
I finished 12th row of the logs today.
All that remains to finish with the walls is the last 13th row of logs, and then cut out the openings for the windows and doors, and place the columns on the terrace.
I've decided to release another video after I finish the rest of this work, so the next episode will be a little late, but it will be longer. So don't worry, you won't miss anything because I film everything.

Wow, that's crazy. I really appreciate every single subscriber. It is very encouraging to me that you enjoy watching what I enjoy doing and I am honored by that.
