Bare basic is that I generally do non-commentated videos of games and custom maps that I enjoy playing. Previously, I did do commentated Let's Play videos but since returning to making YouTube content I'd rather hold off on doing such videos. Let's just say that I'm not exactly the most accustomed to doing commentary, or even talking for that matter. Doing non-commentated videos are just easier for me and I do know I have to be very mindful of any music that might play in my videos because of copyrights. I will also note that my mind and interest wanders frequently. Unless I end up hyperfixating on something, there is a decent chance that I might bounce between a few different video projects and view counts might influence what I work on at any given time.

That said, I hope you enjoy what I play and I'll do my best to be entertaining without saying a word.

Note: If you have to shorten my username then just call me 'Talon', please.

Figured out part of my issue with these stutters in the video when I record Trailout, and this might also be why I've had issues with Wreckfest also. There's a setting in OBS called 'Look Ahead' and one of the side effects of it is increasing latency. That more than likely is the culprit for my problem.

I did do a recording and everything looks fine while on straights. Still get stutters when steering but I THINK most of that might be on the game's end rather than the recording because I was noticing something whenever I did take sharp turns on the track.

So, problem is mostly resolved. At least, enough so that I'm relatively happy with the video produced. Here's hoping that YouTube doesn't butcher it too badly on the quality.

PS: I'll be scheduling video uploads the day after I record and edit them. Likely best if I don't stress myself over having some form of upload schedule.

Found out that RPCS3 finally ironed out an annoying graphical bug in MotorStorm: Monument Valley where the vehicles would visually stutter forward and back occasionally. So, started playing that and good lord it makes Trailout's vehicle handling look like an utter joke. XD

For one: Vehicles aren't prone to flipping over if you have the audacity to even lightly nudge your steering when hitting bumps or when steering on a banked turn. Plus no weirdness where a vehicle with good handling doesn't have overly touchy steering that ironically makes them very hard to handle.

For two: Better mid-air control where you can get vehicles to not bounce as much on landings. Plus, no issues with some vehicles absolutely hating jumps and pretty much crashing out bad on landing.

For three: Better sense of momentum and speed. Plus the excellent sound design on the boost sound and overheat.

I'll definitely play this from time to time and I think once I hit the high rank races I'll apply that patch that lets me use any vehicle in any event just to give myself even the slightest bit of an advantage.

PS: I more than likely won't do videos on Monument Valley. There's no 'freeplay races' you can do against AI... sadly.

I figured out why peds and spectators haven't been spawning in Trailout. They're tied to the effects quality setting. Putting that down to low will disable peds and spectators. Which this means you won't have any of those idiots running across the track and potentially doubling back on you.

I only figured this out because my computer got a new graphics card courtesy of my father. So... indirectly, he helped me figure out what was going on because I only noticed the peds spawning when I upped my quality settings. XD

Booted up Trailout today and I figured something out that the game DOES NOT mention, as far as I can tell. The Fahraad XD, the BMX bike, has a little secret where mashing your boost button when you're going over 10 KPH (around when the character pedals with both feet) will make your character pedal faster. This is useful only when going up hill where you'd usually lose A LOT of speed usually.

So, the bike technically has boost but it doesn't work when below a certain speed threshold. XD

It is done. That's 'All Ped Kills' for all of Carmageddon: Max Damage's Classic Carma events in its Career Mode. There are other routes that sport different ped population numbers and density if I set up a Classic Carma in Freeplay but I doubt I'll do that any time soon.

While the Suppressor carried me the rest of the way when the heavy hitters really started showing up around tier 14 to 16 but the true MVP has to be Tropikill. That jet engined van was an incredible tool and I do recommend using it for 'All Ped Kills' for Classic Carmas in the Overhaul Mod. Don't get me wrong, Electric Blue IS good for ped killing but it just lacks the durability and the handling that Tropikill has in the mod.

It was a fun ride.

I'm on the last Classic Carma event for 'All Ped Kills' in Carmageddon: Max Damage. Currently, Multi-Storey has to be least favorite for 'All Ped Kills' because it had three peds situated on top of the tallest skyscraper on the map. Pretty much needed to go to one of the other tall buildings along the track route, ramp off it, and use a mix of 'Kangaroo on Command' and 'Bubble Car' to get up there. I did overshoot it on my first try but got it on my second.

All is left is the Cattle Grid and I fear it. I was tempted to switch back to Tropikill (because I previously had swapped to the Suppressor starting with Multi-Storey) but I noticed that the Cargoking and couple other Big Rigs from the 80s Time Warp pack were in the lineup. Yeah... let's just say that van might have BIT of a rough time there. O_o

PS: I got back into doing these runs because of Little Puppet retiring from streaming.

I booted up Wreckfest 1 today because the 'Flatout 2 Track Pack' mod had updated. I thought it contained one new track location but it actually contained many. I want to say most of the entire Flatout 2 track pool. O_o

I think now you can legitimately play a watered down, bootleg version of Flatout 1 and 2 in Wreckfest.

I literally have no idea what I did or what changed. The random frame dips I was getting just don't seem to be occurring regardless of what vehicle use and what track I race on.

Either A: It was tied to the broken ped spawning system.
Or B: It was related to the game compiling shaders that it (possibly) has to do after every update the devs put out.
Or C: The sun, or some other celestial body, sneezed in the Earth's general direction and that caused the issue.

Either way, I'm VERY confused. Bright side: At least, I can enjoy the MotoRush bikes without getting tangled up with a stupid ped that decided that they should double-back on me. For now, at least.

It's gotten comical how much the Trailout devs have been trying to fix the ped spawning system and seemingly failing.

Bright side: I did something(?) and the random frame dips I was getting with Trailout has ceased. I'm not sure what I did or what changed and at this point I'm waiting till tomorrow to see if the issue comes back up just so I can test a few things that might have resolved it previously.
