Hey friends,
Today I'm turning another year older, and I wanted to take a moment to share some deeper birthday boy thoughts about life recently.
I've been quiet about some personal stuff lately, but a lot is shifting in my life right now. I'm in the middle of some pretty significant changes, both personally and professionally. And even if I can't be more concrete yet, let me tell you that these changes feel right, even when they're overwhelming. They're pointing toward something that will give me more space for what truly matters: creating music, building community, and experiencing creativity in deeper ways.
These new photos were shot last weekend and capture a bit of where my head's been at. If you're going through your own season of change right now - whether it's career stuff, creative blocks, or just life throwing curveballs - I want you to know that the storm will settle. Growth and change are messy by nature, but there's something beautiful about looking back and seeing what you've navigated through. Even when things don't turn out exactly how you pictured them, you still walk away having learned something valuable.
Today feels like the perfect time to say thank you to everyone who supports what I do. It all matters more than you know. Here's to whatever comes next, and to sharing it with all of you along the way.
Stay creative and with love,
Miles

Hey friends, I'm already pumped for next week's YouTube video: I had the pleasure to welcome the incredible Fabian Laute in my studio, who is a Techno/Psy-Trance live act who already played some of the biggest festivals in Germany, like e.g. Fusion Festival. Fabian did a deep dive into his live setup & we performed a little jam together.
I'll be honest: This setup & the well thought out playability behind it completely blew my mind and gave me so much inspiration for my own setup (and I'm sure it will be the same for you). The video is already up on Patreon so if you want to check it out there, you're welcome to dive into the madness: www.patreon.com/posts/this-live-setup-139641136
Thanks for your support and stay creative,
Miles

Hey friends, with Ableton just announcing the Live 12.3 update, Push 3 is getting some really cool new features too, such as the XYZ-Layout and Rhythm Generator. So I'm thinking of giving the beta a spin for next weeks video, to see what's in there for live performers. Good idea?

Hey friends, Apart from my new song "Halo" (which is out today! 🎉), Mordio & I also have a new episode of Signal Chain Stories up - and it's probably my favorite episode we've made to date. We speak about how to stay creative in the long run and show hands on concepts to fuel your creativity. Dive in with us, I promise you won't regret it and take something away!
Stay bored (you will get that when you watch the episode) and creative,
Miles

Hey friends, Sometimes the best creative breakthroughs come from doing the complete opposite of what feels logical. I've been experimenting with a completely backwards approach to the Ableton Move that's honestly blown my mind this week.
Instead of starting with melodies or beats, I've been creating empty clips and automating all 8 macros blindly - without even hearing what happens. More to come in next week's video but if you want to watch it now, it's already live on my Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/136536839?pr=true
See you Wednesday,
Miles

Hey friends, @MordioMusic and I have a new episode of @SignalChainStories live! This week we talk about the power of focusing on one device, performing with only one device and live performance of electronic music in general.
We're having more and more fun recording these episodes and hope you enjoy them too. If you do, consider leaving a sub for the channel as that would really help our little podcast to grow. 🌳
Thanks a bunch and stay creative,
Miles

Hey friends, thank you so much for all the great feedback on the Push 3 + Sting 2 video - makes me really happy, that it is so well received! Today was editing day and I got 2 new videos coming up on the Ableton Move: one about a workflow breakdown of my latest Move standalone jams & one about my favorite modulation trick on the Move. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! :)

Hey friends,
If you are a live act like me, I’m pretty sure that you know the “end of chain” struggle: Playing your songs on stage and have a coherent sound to them, that keeps peaks under control, ensures loudness but keeps dynamics and warmth intact. I’ve struggled a lot with that too, so I started to build my own end of chain for live gigs. After months of testing, refining, and gigging with it, I’m finally releasing my Miles Mastering Live Rack 2.1 – an updated, powerful, all-Ableton effects rack that gives your live sets and productions the polished, coherent sound they deserve. Find more info on the rack here: www.mileskvndra.com/shop/p/ableton-live-mastering-…
Whether you're playing a livestream, on stage or crafting your next release in the studio – this rack is my go-to final chain to glue everything together without overloading your CPU. I’ve used this rack for all my recent live shows and the feedback on sound quality was super positive.
Hope the rack helps you as much as it helps me - would love to hear your feedback!
Stay creative,
Miles

Hey friends, back from Scotland I'm having some good times with Sting 2 by @iftah_fow, running on the Push 3 and sequencing the Mother-32. The playability of the sequencer is insane, which made this session so much fun - you'll see in the video coming next week. Seriously considering this as an addition to my new live setup!
Have a lovely weekend and stay creative,
Miles
