When God tells you to do something, just do it. Don’t seek validation from people, just obey God. If you need confirmation, go to His Word. It will never contradict itself. The mind of Christ doesn’t just happen, you obtain it. You take on the mindset. You surrender to His ways of doing and saying things, not your own. It’s a decision you make daily…to align your perspective with what is true… in His Word. My obedience led to an outcome and healed things in people and relationships that I could have never even imagined. I would not have experienced this doing what “felt” right. Or listening to opinions. Trusting God’s voice pushed me, no shoved me, out of my comfort zones and made me grow up in the things of God. I HAD to mature, it was the only way. Now I’m living in the blessing(s) of what God was telling me to do through dreams I had years ago! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾💕

You may not want to hear it (or read it, in this case) but your response to the disappointments in life are indicators to whether or not you’re prepared for the thing you’ve been praying about. You’ll find that you repeat the same cycles over and over because the Lord wants you to get it…and obtain the fruit to take into that season of reaping what you are requesting. You are in fact being equipped, so when you miss it, our Father in His mercy and grace allows you to experience it again to show you what you missed the first time. You didn’t miss the blessing, you missed the lesson. Stay faithful and abide in Him and reap the full benefits. The fullness is in the fruit of His Spirit. 🙏🏾❤️

If you are desiring marriage, let GOD prepare you for it. He will make you a better bride than you could ever become on your own. What you think you don’t need, you do need, and the things you think are necessary are probably not as important (Read that again).

For years I tried to prepare myself, but never saw the promise, because the time had not yet come. God was already working some things out in my heart and maturing me through my relationship with Him. All of the westernized advice I received about how to get myself prepared and find a spouse led nowhere. This can’t be the end all be all of your faith but you also shouldn’t be ashamed for desiring it either. God puts it there for it to be made manifest… in His timing.

If you want a God ordained covenant you must seek the Source, the Creator of all things, the Alpha and Omega, the all-knowing God. He establishes, appoints and prepares us to be His bride first. People will give advice according to what worked for them, but the truth of the matter is, every covenant story is authentic and cannot be duplicated. Suggestions are lovely but God’s direction is flawless and perfect. Trust God and seek Him for preparation. Don’t get swindled out of your time, money and energy by trusting so-called relationship gurus. Doing this can often create false hope, disappointment and lead to resentment toward God and marriage altogether. This is why there is scripture that says first seek the Kingdom. It never instructs us to seek man because no matter how wise they think they are, they are not God. Only He knows your purpose in its entirety and what He is building through you. He sees what’s up ahead and knows how to shape and mold you for the specific battles you will face in convenant. Man can’t do that. One of the worst things you can do is find yourself yoked to someone that has not been called to that particular covenant.

There is no conference or course that can fully prepare you for your authentic story. Those things may not hurt the journey if you’re matured enough, but I’ve seen this kind of stuff take people on a rollercoaster ride that God never intended for us to be on. If you want the best outcome, stay close to God and turn off the noise.

The Lord is waking up the church FIRST. We can’t lead people where we haven’t been. How can we help bring people into ALL truth if we ourselves are trapped in a delusion. Honestly, it needs to be discussed more openly. It’s an issue and the Lord has something to say about it. It actually goes far beyond a simple “choice” to be more modest, but also is a part of being obedient to the Lord. It also reveals your maturity in Christ and is a huge indicator that you’re struggling with your identity in Christ. When you know you’re a daughter to THE KING, you carry yourself different. And when you’re being matured in the Lord you’re not easily offended and are OFTEN making adjustments, not just to your attire but in every area of your life. Because you KNOW it pleases GOD. And he’s the LORD over your life.

Sometime we have to dissect why we’re behaving a certain way. It’s worth it. There’s healing there. I have a testimony to share regarding this… soon, very soon. #GodCares #MaturityandModesty 🙏🏾

Have we failed the idolatry test mentioned in Deuteronomy 13:1-3?

Many are deluded by the prophet and the dreamer, infatuated with every sign and wonder that they miss the importance of holiness. It’s pretty easy to see the difference when your focus is on Jesus but when the shine of popularity, performances and philosophies of man has the intrigue of the masses, they are bound to fail the test.

The gods of this age aren’t just the golden calves people bow down to, but it’s everything you value over the One True Living God and His holy command. It’s every idea that takes priority over Scripture and it’s everything that is foul, vulgar and detestable and placed on a pedestal in the place where only God should reside. These have become the gods of today. Even the word “culture” has become a god. The stance on it is not mentioned in Scripture but we value it so greatly. Makes you wonder when it became “a thing”. Lies can come in many forms and packages. They grab our attention, capture our empathy, consume our thoughts and guide our motives. Is there any room left for God? Is there any place left for holiness? Is anything sacred anymore?

I’m making it a habit to periodically ask myself these questions:
Have I passed the test? What has taken priority in my life? Am I still trying to look/think/sound/behave/obey like Jesus???

The Bible encourages us to continually examine ourselves to see if we are still in the faith, not assume. It also says to take care (or be cautious) that you do not obtain the mind and lifestyle of this world.
2 Corinthians 13:5-6, Romans 12:2, Deuteronomy 11:16 and 13:1-3

I’m praying that we all re-examine and pursue Christ and holiness. That we get back to the basics of our faith. And most of all, that Christians will began to act like WHO they say they believe in.

Let’s get back to the business of winning souls (not just hanging out/blending in with them).

Some of the younger believers carry more wisdom and spiritual weight than some older ones. This is why you can’t put age, status and titles on a pedestal. The Word says even the very elect could be deceived. Some 40, 50, and 60 year olds are showing us that even they can become immature, dishonest and full of pride. We can clearly see they know Scripture and can even teach it…but don’t live it. This is problematic.

Pray for us all family. The body has BEEN sick. But God is cleaning us out to be fit for good use. 🙏🏾 He forgives, He restores and He redeems. We only need to repent and believe. ❤️
