I was the kid with the hoodie or the robe at school
Sometimes the robe could instead be a long coat or a cape or a suit I wear
Never made eye contact with anyone
I jumped at any opportunity to interactThe very few friends I had throughout life
It was Always me leaving because of social services taking me
And one day
For once.i made a friend they couldn't take me from
But then I met more people
And I thrived
To a boy who was isolated in life
It was the best thing in the world
A miracle
Then over the course of a few months
Things got occasionally turbulent and the week leading up to this collapse
Everything broke
I let everyone off the hook
Booted everyone from our main friend group chat
Knowing they inevitably would leave at some point
The way they acted
It was gonna be sooner or later
All good things come to an end eventually
I expect to be alone for a long time

I should've stayed solo instead of trying to make friends
