3 weeks ago I mentioned how I was doing on my audio of sandbirds. What I didn't mention, due to my not having my phone, was updating how I was doing. Make sense?
I was in the hospital for just over 2 weeks. I was sick. very sick.
On the plus side I lost some weight. 20 pounds worth of weight. (aka 9 kilos) for a change, it had nothing to do with my breathing. so yay?
I've still got some tests to complete. but they're doing it as an outpatient.
I'd love to share with you but I don't know what tests are being done, or (obviously) don't know the results.
I had a person helping out taking care of coconut, but even with his being cared for, 2 weeks of not getting the attention he needed almost made him feral. He sleeps a good 18 hours a day on my lap. I hope the time I have to go back into the hospital is brief. I'll update as I know stuff :)

Hi guys! I hope you're having a fantastic day!
I just popped in to tell you I've been working on my audio reading of my book, Season of the Sandbird. Now, I got to say, this is harder than I expected. Only that I need to get into a routine of doing it every day. Happily, my breathing isn't bad, so actually saying all this wordage isn't hurting me, so yay!
That said, sadly I'm only on page 9. Only 230 more pages to go lol
I intend to post the book by chapter. So once chapter 1 is done, I hope to post it.

Here's a question for you. Last couple of days I've been hearing coconut trying to throw up. I figured hair ball or maybe he ate too fast, and his stomach was protesting. But I never found any evidence of his vomiting.
Tonight, he's sitting on my lap, and i hear the heaving - but coconut is on my lap, isn't trying to throw up, and the sound is coming from across the room.
So what sounds like a cat trying to throw up a hair ball? a mouse? a rat? Something else?

I've been working on a short video just giving a life update. Bit hard to do, because when I start talking, someone thinks I'm talking to them, and gets sassy with me. He can be dead asleep but the second he hears my voice, he's in my face.

hubs came home a few hours before he passed. I managed a couple of hours with him before i ended up in hospital. I've been in hospital about 2 weeks, came home to no internet, got that sorted today, 10 days (?)since getting home. lost track of time.
well, I'm home. and I'm a widower. and my house a very quiet.

You know that expression 'you could have broken your neck'?
Well about that.
I got out of bed this morning and promptly fell over. Tried grabbing something to keep me upright, but it didn't work. My ear hit my art desk, and the rest of me just went down. Hurt the heck out of my ear. Later, my neck and shoulder hurt. Figure my spine will be next.
and just now, I thought of that old expression.
I got lucky. Like, really lucky.

I did jinx it, kinda. Since my last post partner has been on his deathbed twice. And recovered twice. We are currently at 'has some medical problems, but may be coming home in two weeks.' The current problem is potassium.

Now - I have been debating with myself on posting this link. I am terrified, seriously scared. Because I am naked here - no, not pictures, but stuff I have not told a living soul about. I have talked to my grown kids about a few things, but even they have only just been told about this link.

Then I realized, tomorrow, next month, next year, I'm going to have to go public with this. I may as well jump the first hurdle with 'friends'. Or at least, people who won't call me a lier or DraMa quEEn. Most likely to happen is people leave my channel. (which they did.)

i don't want to jinx it - but he came out swinging. hard. ( edit; evidently the person saying he was cognizant was closer to reality than the person saying his organs were dying)
husband called me today. by himself. talked for about 15 minutes. doctors have given him criteria he has to meet - like walking without assistance - and he can come home. they're talking like on Monday. I'll believe that when i see it. they cured him totally by accident. they had no idea what they were doing, and a side effect of their hand waving brought him out of catonia. I'm both furious and grateful.
so i should have just held off posting yesterday's post. sorry.
