Now that episode 7 is finally done, I can finally announce what the next project is.
Hold onto your butts. We're going back to Zero.
Fate/Minus One will be a one-shot abridged project covering the back half of Fate/Zero, estimated between 25-30 something minutes depending on how some scenes time out. Editing has already begun! I basically bit into this the second episode 7 was done.
Super excited to change up the pace and tackle something a little more crazy than Apocrabridged. Trust me, this is gonna be a fun one.
I've been trying to hold off any further updates until AFTER the episode hit, but I feel it's been so long by now that I have to say something.
I had a serious head injury at the end of January and it's been seriously impacting my daily life. A shelf fell on my head at work and although I'd rather keep some of the details private, I've been having to make a lot of changes and sacrifices lately.
I intend to finish the show. I mean that. I just haven't been able to bring myself to touch a timeline lately because every time I try to turn my mind toward making something, it's like my brain starts cooking itself.
I'm so sorry for the delays. I'm incredibly frustrated with all this. I keep telling myself any given day will be the one that I lock in and finish Reaping Ripper, but I'm truly just feeling so paralyzed by these concussion symptoms and I don't know how to fight it. I promise I'm doing what I can.
Hey all! Wanted to give an update for those viewers not in my discord who are wondering how Reaping Ripper is coming along.
I wrapped up the third-to-last scene in the episode yesterday, and both of the remaining two have been started. I'm going to wait until I have only one scene left to make a date announcement and post a trailer, but I've been working hard to get this episode finished and I'm super excited to show you guys what I've been cooking up. I'm editing this a little bit every day, but I'm also working a lot of overtime at my IRL job for the holiday season right now, so most of the show's progress has been happening on my lunch breaks (my laptop is the current MVP of this show's tech lol)
I'm estimating that, once the final scene has been added, the length will be around 23 minutes in total, making this the second longest episode to date. It's already past the 20 minute mark and I know TRS is gonna add at least a minute and a half, it's all down to how long Choices ends up running. With the endcard, the final video might crack 24-25 minutes - we'll see.
Hey all! Small update time. If you're not a part of my Discord server, the Eel Gang, here's a reminder that it's always open to join and we'd love to have you. We play a lot of games, recently we've been doing a lot of Marvel Rivals and Pokemon Showdown, and we're getting into Sonic Crossworlds too.
The meat and potatoes though is that I just started a "content-updates" chat in that server with some details of what I've been working on for ep 7, and I intend to keep that updated day to day. If you wanna see how the episode's coming along, feel free to join up! discord.gg/XEhmnNs
If there’s one piece of advice I would give any creator who’s not used to doing their own editing, never rely on automatic backups.
Long story short, I lost about a weeks worth of editing on episode seven just now. Thankfully I had a back up for everything I’ve done before that point, and at least a good chunk of what I’ve spent the last week doing is audio and animation, which final cut did not corrupt. I am unbelievably angry about it, but at least I’ve learned the hard way that I need to start manually backing up my stuff every single session.
So, I have an important question for you guys. My original intention was for episodes of the revived Fate/Apocrabridged to go up in blocks of episodes corresponding to their arc. Block 1 was going to include 4, 5 and 6, Block 2 was going to be 7 and 8, then the final block would be 9 and 10.
Recently, Dailymotion deleted most of Fate/Apocrabridged from the site (The episodes are still on YouTube!) due to a copyright notification. Most of why I felt comfortable doing the block structure was that I felt comfortable uploading episodes on other platforms temporarily while I waited for the appropriate time to get them on YouTube, but with Drive being screwy with large amounts of playback, Patreon's native video player being what it is and Dailymotion proving to no longer be a safe place for the show in the long term, I'm reconsidering.
The whole point was to prevent mass copyright strikes on my channel. Fewer total uploads meant fewer strike targets. But if I can't keep the show up on another platform, I'm not sure it's worth doing anymore. Should I commit to the block structure fully, or just go ahead and drop episodes as they're done?
The results of this poll may or may not influence my decision but I really want to get some feedback on this choice.

Hey all! I'm not feeling super well tomorrow and I'm gonna tentatively say tomorrow will be a 9-hour stream starting at 3 instead of a 12-12. I've been experiencing a lot of allergy symptoms these past couple months and it's bad today, might need some extra rest
