Build yourself into someone whose worth needs no defense. When you enter the hall, let them already know why you have come.
The Hávamál says cattle die, kinsmen die, and you yourself will die. One thing never dies: the reputation you leave behind. So forge it well. Become so good at your craft that the room means less without you in it. That is what it means to be undeniable.
Wealth can vanish in a blink. A false friend burns hotter and faster than fire. But skill you have earned with your own hands stays with you on every road you walk. No one can take it. No one can lend it to you either.
This is the floor, not the ceiling. The minimum if you want a real chance at winning big.
That is what it takes. That is on you.
