🔥 WHAT YOU DO AND TO WHOM YOU DO IT 🔥

Many people believe if they are doing good works, they must be serving God through their sacrifice. But Scripture shows us something deeper. It is not only what you do, it is also who you are offering it to.

“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God…”
1 Corinthians 10:20 (KJV)

Fraternities, sororities, and secret societies often point to their community service, scholarships, and volunteer work as proof they are doing good.

But the real question is: Who is the sacrifice being offered to?

When service is done under oaths, covenants, rituals, and allegiance to the organization, those acts of service become sacrifices offered through that system.

And you cannot say you are doing something in the name of Jesus and also in the name of your organization. That is attempting to offer sacrifice to two masters.

God will not share His glory with another.

It is not just about what you do.
It is about who receives the sacrifice.

📕The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man📕(FALSE DOCTRINE)

One of the foundational philosophies behind Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and many other fraternal organizations is the phrase “The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man.”

This concept did not originate with the fraternity itself. It comes from the teachings and philosophy of Freemasonry, which has influenced many fraternities and secret societies.

At first glance, the phrase sounds positive and unifying. But the doctrine behind it carries a very specific meaning.

Within this belief system, God is viewed as the universal Father of all humanity, and therefore all men are considered brothers, regardless of their religion, their beliefs about God, or their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Because of this philosophy, it also teaches that the God worshiped in the various religions of the world is ultimately the same God, even if those religions call Him by different names or approach Him through different paths.

That belief is what allows men of different religions, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and others, to participate together within the same fraternal system.

When a man seeks membership in Omega Psi Phi, he must accept and participate in teachings and rituals that are built on this doctrine. By becoming a member, he is accepting the belief in the universal fatherhood of God and the universal brotherhood of man, regardless of religious differences.

However, Scripture teaches something very different.

The Bible does not say that everyone is automatically a child of God.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
— John 1:12

According to the Bible, a person becomes a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ, not simply because they are human.

Jesus Himself made it clear:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
— John 14:6

This means the God revealed through Jesus Christ cannot be the same as the gods of other religions, because those religions reject Christ as Lord.

So while fraternal organizations promote a universal brotherhood of all men under a universal fatherhood of God, the Bible teaches that true brotherhood exists among those who have been born again through Jesus Christ.

True unity is not built on oaths, rituals, or organizational allegiance.

True unity is found in Christ alone.

🚨WAITING ON CONVICTION🚨

Some people say, “I’m waiting for the Holy Spirit to convict me.”

But waiting for conviction after God has already spoken in His Word is like waiting until your stomach is growling before you decide to eat.

By the time your stomach is growling, you already ignored the earlier signals your body gave you.

Spiritually, it works the same way.

God has already spoken through Scripture. When His Word clearly warns about idolatry, secret covenants, and serving other gods, we are not supposed to wait for a personal feeling before obeying.

The Word itself is the conviction.

The Holy Spirit does not contradict the Word, He confirms it.

Many people call it “waiting for conviction,” but in reality it is simply delaying obedience.

And delayed obedience is still DISOBEDIENCE.

📕FRATERNITIES AND SORORITIES ARE FALSE RELIGIONS📕

What is a religion?

A religion is generally defined as a system that includes rituals, sacred texts, ceremonies, symbols, followers who pledge allegiance, and often a connection to a deity.

Now look at fraternities and sororities through that lens.

These organizations contain the same structural elements found in religions:

• A Ritual Book – These organizations have ritual books that are restricted and treated as sacred, governing ceremonies and teachings.

• Initiation Ceremonies – Entry requires formal initiation rites that bring a person from the outside into the inner body through ritual.

• An Altar Erected to a Deity – Rituals are performed around an altar erected to a deity, historically a place of dedication, covenant, and sacrifice.

• Oaths and Lifelong Covenants – Members swear binding oaths and pledge lifelong allegiance to the organization.

• A Hymn of Devotion – The organization has a hymn that members sing in honor of the organization itself.

• Sacred Symbols and Language – Symbols, meanings, and language are revealed through ritual instruction and are treated with reverence.

• Followers Who Pledge Allegiance – Members publicly and privately declare their loyalty and identity to the organization.

• Ceremonies for Deceased Members – Formal rituals are conducted to honor members who have passed away.

• Connection to Deities – Greek-letter organizations are connected to deities, and deities have always been tied to religious systems.

When you place these elements next to the definition of a religion, the structure mirrors one exactly.

So the real question becomes this:

At what point do we stop calling it “symbolic” and simply recognize the structure for what it is?
