The Hourglass changes are honestly really nice, but not even a week into season 19 and I’m looking back on season 18 thinking “Hey, that season wasn’t actually terrible after all.”
After watching Captain Falcore’s latest video, I started realizing just how many people in this community disapprove of time-limited events in Sea Of Thieves now and I support it so much. I’ve always disliked time-limited events, I think the adventures were my biggest problem, but at least there was once a time when they were more unique, longer and simply just made more sense, and of course, they re-added many things back into the game, like for instance the Megalodon from The Hungering Deep. But now everything feels so bland and repetitive, rewards are weak and life has just gotten too busy. My amount of time to even play this game is far more limited now than ever before. Despite this, I will continue to support this game as much as I possibly can, it has brought so many fun and memorable moments that I regret ever going on such a long-hiatus during the earlier days of the game’s life. But I do hope that Rare will steer away from all these time-limited events at some point soon, it may still be a month worth of time, but that’s still not long enough when it can be permanent. So in hopes for calmer seas and less time-limited events ahead: #NotTimeLimited
I love how this one particular upcoming goal for the Reapers’ Gauntlet Of Goals is about The Burning Blade, but that ship shown is clearly The Flying Dutchman: Wrong sail design, different aftercastle, three jibs instead of one and you can even make out the original broken bowsprit and the skeleton holding his scythe on the replacement bowsprit below it. I just found this intriguing and amusing, it almost immediately caught my eye upon first seeing it.

So I Guess With Adventures Ending, And The Unlikelihood That Previous Adventures Will Make A Return And Be Replay-able, I Decided To Make A List Of How The Items, Not Including Titles, That Could Be Earned By Completing The Adventures During There Active 2-Week Period, Could Be Re-Added And Unlocked For Purchase Via Commendations Or Rank Up In Factions.
Also, A Few Of These Have Either No Or A Poor Answer, Mainly Because There’s Just No Current Commendation Or Rank Up That Would Fit With Them. But Feel Free To Add Any Suggestions If You Find One!
PLEASE READ! If Anyone Thought Of This Idea Before Me, And Shared It Here, Or Reddit, Twitter, Anywhere, Etc. Then I Will Say That This Is NOT Attempted Plagiarism! You Got It First And I Will Not Deny That! This Was Just An Idea I’ve Personally Had For Awhile And I Wanted To Finally Share It Here On My Channel Just For Fun! While I unfortunately won’t be able to play Season 11 on launch day, Booo! I’m hoping to be able to jump in tomorrow, the new season looks very promising, and I’m seeing a lot about the new Becalmed Theme on the title screen. Maybe I’ll get a chance to record & upload my own version soon enough!
