Stay safe in the hot sun by taking care of your skin and eyes. 😎 July is UV Safety Month, and during July in the Portland Metro area your skin and eyes are at high risk for sun damage or sunburn. Follow these tips to stay safe:



🟡 Apply sunscreen every two hours, and make sure you’re using broad-spectrum lotion (it will say UV-A and UV-B).
🟡 Wear dark clothing, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat.
🟡 If possible, stay inside during the day. Even if you’re outside in the shade, you need sunscreen.
🟡 Be careful around reflective surfaces like water, sand, and cement. These can reflect sunlight and increase your risk for sunburn.
🟡 Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially when spending extended periods in the sun.

Our new clinic space will allow us to expand our services to include dental and pharmacy care alongside our comprehensive medical services.
