Hello ladies! 💕 Don’t let these luscious lashes fool you—I’ve been lying in bed all day with a nasty cold. This is the second Monday in a row I’ve spent in bed, but don’t worry… I’m not making this a habit!

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a post today. Rather than putting unnecessary expectations on myself this week when I already know my body is telling me to slow down, I’m going to accept that I simply can’t do all the things right now. And that’s okay.

I do have some things prepared, but I really want to go into a new week feeling fully prepared and ready to go. So, I’m going to take this week to rest, recover, and get things ready for next week. ❤️

More than anything, I just want to take a moment to tell you how grateful I am for you. You watch what I put out there, you interact in your own special ways, and you continue to show up. That means more to me than you probably realize.

Not everyone who has watched my videos over the years has made it this far, but you are here now. You care enough to be part of this journey with me, even though it looks completely different than it did years ago.

I’ll admit, I get into weird moods sometimes where I wonder if it’s worth continuing and keeping up what we’ve built over the years. But the truth is, I’m still enjoying myself. I still love creating, interacting with you, and hopefully inspiring you along the way. And as long as we have that, I’ll keep going. 💗

Speaking of milestones… what do you think would be a fun way to celebrate 10 years on YouTube?! 🎉 I know it’s still a few months away, but I’d love to hear your ideas so I can start planning!

Another thing many of you have mentioned recently is that I seem different... happier, lighter, and more at peace. I've smiled every time I've read those comments because, truthfully, I feel it too. This past year has changed my perspective in so many ways, and I've found myself embracing our home and this season of life with a completely different attitude. I have a really exciting video planned for Monday, and I can't wait to see you there and share more with you!

Happy July, lovely lady! ☀️🏡🍉

Can you believe we've just celebrated the first birthday of The Lady of the House Legacy? It hardly seems possible that this little magazine has already entered its second year. As I prepared this month's issue, I found myself reflecting on what a joy it has been to write these pages each month. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every encouraging message, every issue you've read, and every way you've supported my work along the way. It truly means more than you know.

This month's issue is centered around Embracing a New Season, and one of my favorite articles is called The Next Forty Years—or however many years the Lord graciously gives us. It isn't about chasing youth or striving for perfection. It's about caring well for the body God has entrusted to us so we can continue serving our families, enjoying our homes, welcoming others around our tables, and embracing each new season with strength, purpose, and gratitude.

Together we'll also explore healthier living, homemaking, faith, fresh flowers, simple summer joys, and discovering that meaningful change rarely happens all at once. Instead, it's built through the quiet, faithful choices we make each ordinary day.

Hello, lovely ladies!

I know it's been a little quiet over here, and I wanted to thank you for your patience. I've been fully present with my family these past couple of weeks, especially as we sent our son off to Marine Corps boot camp. It's a season of change for our family, and while we're incredibly proud of him, it's certainly been an adjustment around home.

With so much changing behind the scenes, it felt like the perfect time to embrace a small change myself. After thinking about it for quite a while, I decided to lighten my hair for this new season of life. Believe it or not, I hadn't done anything to my hair in well over a decade, so this was a big step for me! My daughter did the highlights, which made the experience even more special.
