We are finally getting rain. Islamabad winters were cold and rainy but with changing weather patterns we have seen way less rain December, January, February and so on. Grateful for this rain. 15 March 2026

"Aloe vera flowers are vibrant, tubular, yellow-to-orange blooms that grow in clusters on tall, 90 cm stalks, typically appearing in winter or spring on mature (3-4 year old) plants. These nectar-rich, edible flowers attract hummingbirds, blooming best outdoors in full sun and well-drained soil." It's such a joy to see the aloe vera blossom every spring.
And although South Asia doesn't have hummingbirds , these blooms attracted these stunning silvery blue sun birds.
