The road goes on, with or without us. I used to count the miles left, but now I try to be present for the ones I’m on — showing up, singing true, and taking care along the way. That’s where I’ve found peace. Just let the wheels keep turning. "On Rolls the Wheel" is out today — a first light from my new album, Further From the Country, arriving October 17th. Hope it finds you where you are.

A few hours before taking the stage last night, I learned of the passing of the great Charley Pride. Proud to have included All His Children on the new record. One of the few concerts my dad and I were able to take in was this legend of country music at the Winnipeg arena.
