The Lore of Grimborn & Rupture

Grimborn - The Shadow of Dominion

Grimborn was not born like other dragons. Legends whisper that he was forged in the heart of a dying star, when ancient magic and cosmic fire fused into a single egg. His scales are obsidian-black, lined with faint crimson veins that glow whenever he calls upon his power. His eyes burn with a cold, calculating fire - not the rage of a beast, but the relentless cunning of a warlord.

Unlike most dragons who value freedom, Grimborn believes in absolute control. He sees the world not as a living tapestry, but as a board for a grand game of strategy. He manipulates clans, kingdoms, and entire species like pieces in a vast, cruel puzzle. Every battle, every loss, every betrayal he engineers is a move toward his ultimate goal: dominion over the dragon realms, and the subjugation of all life beneath his wing.
Grimborn's power is not raw destruction alone, but influence. He whispers in the ears of kings, tempts proud dragons into his service with false promises, and engineers chaos to weaken his enemies before striking. To many, he is less a dragon and more a living shadow of destiny - impossible to predict, harder still to defeat.

Rupture - The Fang of the Mastermind

Where Grimborn plots, Rupture acts. Rupture is his blade, his executioner, his shadow given flesh. A hulking male dragon scarred by countless battles, Rupture thrives in blood and chaos. His scales are jagged and torn, giving the impression that he is constantly ripping himself apart only to stitch back together. His wings are shredded at the edges, yet he flies with terrifying speed and precision.

Unlike his master, Rupture has no taste for manipulation or strategy. He finds joy in battle, in tearing apart those Grimborn marks as enemies. But he is not mindless — Rupture's loyalty to Grimborn is absolute, born from a twisted bond. Grimborn saved Rupture from death long ago, binding his soul with dark magic so that his life is tied to his master's will. Rupture has no choice but to obey, and over time, obedience became devotion.

Where Grimborn is the chessmaster, Rupture is the spearpoint. Entire armies have been scattered by the sound of Rupture's roar, and whispers of his coming break the spirit of even the bravest defenders.
