University Film Experimental Group (GECU)

Collective founded in September 1972 to promote and guarantee a space for cultural gestation, production and diffusion towards the improvement of a national conscience, through image, art and culture in general. He makes programs, documentaries, radio and television spots, which are disseminated through national channels, promotes and advises audiovisual production.

In his first stage he produced more than thirty documentaries in cinematographic format, then with the support of video he has made 6 fiction shorts, the same number of music videos, more than 75 documentary videos and 250 reports on various topics. In the last fifteen years it has set the standard in Panamanian television with more than 800 educational programs on FETV Channel 5, SERTV Channel 11 and EcoTV (cableonda channel 28).
