Noticed someone did this, very cool! The only reason I can't upload my mixes to spotify is because I don't own the rights to the music, it'll likely get taken down, it might also take away from the game soundtracks that already exist on there that the respective publishers can make money off of (more important for indie artists, so I don't want to take away from that). I do encourage you to make your own playlists and share them around though with the original music.

Also sorry for being dead for so long, I haven't had inspiration to make a new mix, I want to get better at making actual music and other stuff that's original so I can actually feel proud about it, but thank you all for enjoying the mixes.
Chrono mix got struck down by Square again and there's really nothing I can do about it, there's not one specific song they have a problem with so I can't edit out any single track. I could try but will risk even more copyright strikes and that's not something I really want to handle, Square Enix has deliberately struck down the mix multiple times even when it wasn't getting many views, even when there are plenty of other Chrono mixes on youtube and other reuploads of their music. Well it was good while it lasted, there may be ads on the persona 4 mix now
The claim is from a legit Japanese licensing company, but over P4D's version of Your Affection out of all things in that mix.
Kind of annoying that I can't do anything about it over a minor song near the end, especially since youtube prevents you from editing videos that have too many views now (which they used to allow) because they love creators so much 🙃

Sorry I didn't end up releasing a mix before the end of the year, mostly I just didn't have one that I wanted to make anymore (weeks before my last post there was one I wanted to make but couldn't record easily without second monitor, then when I finally got it back I just felt uninspired by the idea). There was also a Nier mix I wanted to make but that was before the Square Enix situation, so yeah I don't want to sound like I'm making excuses or anything it's just a lack of motivation. I don't think it'll be a huge deal to people but I wanted to give an update since I said I'd post something.
The patreon billing will be suspended for months like this where I don't produce anything, and I've made a lot of changes to the patreon in general, mostly I can't offer downloads for mixes because it's pretty questionable legally, not like I intended to 'sell' the mixes but that's what it ended up being like. It was a pretty dumb idea I feel bad about towards indie devs but I think the only people I affected were Konami. Better to end it now while no one's really using the tier and before I get sued lmao.
So I don't have much to offer as I don't like making exclusive content and would rather it all be publicly available, the page as it stands now is just for donations and archiving content that got removed off my channel, I might get rid of it as some point if it seems useless but I don't know yet.
BUT in terms of future plans, I will eventually do another Yume 2kki mix, I've been cataloging newer tracks I like as they come out and I'm just waiting for the moment where I have enough and it feels right.

Soo.. things are okay now? Maybe? I've waited a few days to see if it would go back down but it seems like I'm not getting screwed for the time being, sorry I made that announcement so early before, I thought I'd be flatlined for 3 months so I was a bit upset.
Anyways, thank you all for your support as there were a few days where a majority of my views came from direct searches and that probably helped kick youtube in the face and fix the issue, and a lot of the very nice comments helped me feel better about it during the situation.
I try to read every comment so even if you don't get a heart you're not going unnoticed! Thank you all again, I'm going to hopefully have a large mix (~3 hours) out at the end of this month, I've been very busy with another video and can't use my second monitor currently so I haven't recorded footage yet

My channel is at a near all-time low, apparently getting 1 copyright strike is enough to kill your channel and the 3 strikes total is just mercy at that point. What the fuck, the square Enix mixes aren't nearly my most popular so youtube is deliberately removing me from view, all of my analytics follow this massive downward spike. Every year I run into something new on this site that just makes it harder and harder to exist

Well this sucks.
All of my Final Fantasy mixes & Chrono Trigger mix are now gone, only 1 didn't recieve a strike but I'm sure if I kept it public it would. I don't want to risk losing my entire channel.
I'm not sure a way I could make these widely available while not getting my channel taken down, so sorry everyone. At the very least, they're publicly available on Odysee, not sure if that's going to get taken down though too eventually.
I promise to try and offer these mixes as best I can, even if the channel goes down one day I'll have to find alternative places to post them.
