We are the Met Office, the UK’s national weather service, and every day of the week we bring you a morning weather forecast and an afternoon weather forecast so that no matter where you are in the UK we have you covered.
You can also rely on weekly UK weather forecasts as well as a 10 day trend that will keep you one step ahead of the weather.
We bring you more than just forecasts though, we'll also explain what's driving the weather in the UK and beyond. We'll also occasionally broadcast live from the Met Office headquarters in the UK, especially during times of severe weather, when you can ask our experts a question about weather or climate.

Have you checked the Radio Times for your Christmas TV plans? Well I am sure there's space to squeeze in some Met Office content over the festive period too .
We do however have to give our lovely presenters a short break so they can get some much deserved rest! There will be no 10 Day Trend on Wednesday 25 December, no Weekend Weather on Thursday 26 December BUT we will do this on Friday 27 December and finally, no 10 Day Trend on Wednesday 1 January.
Nobody panic, we will still be bringing you bumper Deep Dives delving into the weather outlook from Honor on Tuesday 24 December and Alex B on Tuesday 31 December! We will also have our daily weather forecasts to help you plan your festive activities and keep you up-to-date if there are any Met office warnings.
