Free in flight WiFi on Air New Zealand all the way to Auckland. 🎉🎉
The flight was delayed almost 4 hours but they made up for it by giving us extra meals and copious drinks too. ☺️
Very comfortable for a night flight in economy class thank you very much. 😍

Hello Frugal Travellers family! We are so pleased to let you know that the first INDIA video will be showing this FRIDAY at 11am PORTUGAL TIME 🇵🇹.

Yes,we decided to change the DAY & TIME as Saturday's Premieres haven't been doing very well.

Fingers crossed this new day & time will be more successful, and that our INDIA 🇮🇳 series will catapult us into being global phenomenons 🙏🤣

How's your week going? I hope it's better than mine as I am having problems trying to receive a package, as the delivery company doesn't seem to be able to read a simple address 🥹🤯

Oh well... let's see if my supplements actually turn up before we fly back to the UK next Friday!

Hello, fellow Frugal Travellers 👋🙌 Lee finally made it to Portugal on Wednesday and has been having some quality Tilly the cat house-sitting time... more like Tilly's been sleeping on Lee the whole time 😻💤😹

Lee's still having some stomach issues as tried re-introducing a few things too soon... turns out there's WAY too much fibre in my morning smoothies, so he's steering clear of them! No coffee or fried food either as they can also be a trigger.

He's going to go back to a bland diet for a week so the medication has a chance to kick in and continue healing his stomach.

It's wonderful to finally be together again 🥰😍. Situations like these make you realise just how incredible it feels to be well and healthy, and how important it is to be able to spend time with the people (and pets) you love.

I hope you've been enjoying the Shorts that I've been attempting to post daily. I'll be doing some polls this week to get feedback from you all 🙌🤗

Hello to our wonderful Frugal Travellers family 😍♥️ Just a quick update on a couple of things...

1). Lee's doing well and is planning to join me in Portugal soon

2). We've decided to slow things down with the channel for a while

Lee's stomach issues have made us reassess where we need to focus our attention, and we realise it's important to reduce stress as much as possible in order for him to heal.

So, that means no video this week, and no regular weekly schedule for a while. I'll schedule new videos as Premieres, so make sure you've selected Notifications to be shown when new videos are posted.

This also ties in with the fact that despite trying various things:

10 minute vlogs
15 minute vlogs
20 minute videos
30+ minute videos
AND
1 video per week
2 videos per week
3 videos per week

...our channel is barely growing, and it's only thanks to YOU, our regular viewers and subscribers, that our videos are even being watched. The screenshots show how low our viewing numbers have been for the past 4 playlists 😳🥹

We've had over 5 million views but our subscriber numbers still only increase by around 10 per day, which doesn't make for very encouraging growth.

I'm going to try a new tactic, and finally make use of the many shortform upright videos that are on my phone.

We'll start putting out more Shorts that will link to an existing video, which will hopefully introduce our channel and our story to a wider audience.

We need to get more people to see our content, to like it, and to engage with us.

Fingers and toes crossed that this works as I'm going to try it over the next few months.

So, a HUGE thank you for all of your wonderful comments and support, and we hope you know just how much you mean to us.

Here's to many more years of Frugal Travellers, and to our channel growing and reaching more fellow budget travellers!

It's been a crazy week... Lee's still in hospital and is still waiting for a diagnosis so needs to have more scans, and I'm at the house-sit in Portugal, hoping he'll soon be able to join me.

There's always something good in the midst of uncertainty... and this week it's reaching the incredible milestone of 5 million views! 🥳🎉
