Hi everybody. This post contains some very bad news that may be distressing to some of you, so please don't feel any pressure to continue reading and thank you so much for stopping by if you wish to scroll on.

As some of you may know from my last video I mentioned an illness in the family. To elaborate further, this was refering to my lovely mother in law who was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the end of October. Her battle was compounded when she suffered a stroke on Christmas day that resulted in her being rushed to hospital and confined to a bed. Unfortunately over the last couple of days her condition worsened unexpectedly rapidly and it is with a very heavy heart that I tell you she lost her valiant fight in the early hours of this morning.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and good wishes in the comment section of my last video. It meant so much to both me and my partner. I hope you will all understand that I will be extending my break from filming and making videos for a while until I feel up to colouring again. Many thanks and much love to you all

Hi everyone :) This weeks video is currently in editing and should be out as usual on Wednesday. I have also filmed the complete process for another picture ( sneak peek below :) ) but I have been coping with a bout of flu recently so there isn't much talking going on and I'm not sure my explanations are quite up to par so I'm unsure what to do with the footage. I could try my usual process style video, or turn it into a speedcolour and film a seperate "glow" tutorial when I'm feeling better, make a mostly silent colour along or possibly there are other ideas. Basically I'm asking - what would you guys like me to do? :)

Quick update - the construction work outside stretched out over a good few days so unfortunately I didn't have any time to film and there won't be a video today. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible with my finished pages video being hopefully penciled in for next week :)

Hi all :) I have just scheduled today's video to come out as normal but I'm not sure I'll be able to film anything for next week. The local water company have just been around and said they'll be working right outside our windows to fix an issue with the water main and are not sure how long the work will take so at least for today I'll be unable to film due to construction noise. I usually like to leave myself a couple of days to get a video filmed - in case I run over time and need to film in 2 parts - especially with my Random Generator videos which is what I was hoping to film :( I may be able to film on Friday and get a whole page done, but if not - next week's video will need to be delayed or cancelled. Sorry :(

Hi guys, I have attempted to record and edit a video for this weekend but for some reason my phone camera didn't want co-operate and it recorded a bit wonky - with my green mat in the background being a bit flickery and the rest looking kind of over-focused ( if that's a thing ). I have done my level best in editing and cleaned it up the best I could but I'm not 100% happy. I can still upload for you guys if you like but the quality will be slightly off. Thankfully it's not a part of my colour-along, just a video showing me trying out Crayola Swirl pencils so please comment below if you'd be able to ignore a bit of grainyness and would like me to upload :)

Sorry guys - the video that was meant to be out on Saturday is filmed and I have begun editing but I've been called into work for extra days as we're short staffed at the moment so I'll be unable to get it ready for uploading until next Weds most likely. It seems I may have to cut back to just the one video a week until work slows down a bit - especially if the videos are the long-form type that I seem to have been making a lot of lately, which take at least a couple of days to film and edit :) I do apologise but here's a teeny tiny teaser for the image I coloured on camera today to hopefully make up for it a little ;)

Not sure if there will be 2 videos this week or just the one guys. I'm working on a real time colouring/ colour along attempt - turning this image by Maud Lamoine into Jareth and Sarah from The Labyrinth. ( Hope you guys are ok with me probably using paper collage with it in a later part ;) ) So far I have over 3 hours of video to edit for part one so it's a long process and not sure if I have time next week for both filming and editing :)

Hi guys. I have recently decided to try and upgrade my recording equipment and bought a Samsung android phone. ( one of their cheaper ones, but still for me fairly expensive ). Saturday's video will be my first one testing it out, using my usual open camera app, and there may be some teething problems. The audio was not that great - but I have tweaked it in editing the best I can so hopfully will be listenable. Of course if anyone has any feedback or tips please let me know - I'm not very technically minded but I am trying my best and the next few videos will probably be trial and error of me trying to figure stuff out. Thank you all so much for bearing with me.
