Trump should declare a national emergency and, if necessary, federalize the National Guard to help restore law and order in Minneapolis and in any other place where public safety is in danger. Law enforcement must be able to do its job, or the result will be chaos and anarchy.
What we’re seeing in Minneapolis is no longer just “protest.” When federal officers are attacked or blocked from carrying out lawful operations, it becomes an open insurrection against the United States of America an organized attempt to defy federal authority and intimidate those enforcing the law.
